Pride Month Celebration 2026🌈
In observance of Pride Month, the Local Government Unit of Burgos, through the Rural Health Unit, successfully conducted an HIV Screening and Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) Campaign to promote HIV awareness, encourage voluntary HIV testing, and strengthen the community’s understanding of HIV prevention and early detection.
This initiative reflects the commitment of LGU Burgos, in partnership with the Department of Health, to provide accessible, inclusive, and stigma-free health services for all. Through health education and HIV screening, we continue to empower individuals to make informed decisions and support the national goal of ending HIV as a public health threat.
The Rural Health Unit extends its sincere appreciation to all participants, partners, and stakeholders who contributed to the success of this activity. Together, let us continue to uphold equality, dignity, and the right of every Filipino to accessible and quality healthcare.
