Our Ecoliving Experience Quinta do Bom Despacho] is over (for now) and we already miss this beautiful bunch!
We are very grateful to Quinta do Bom Despacho] for creating this magical space where we got to create deep connections with people that share our values - our family of conscious nomads.
We leave with our hearts full and wanting to find more “families” like this throughout the world!

What is a community? 🧐
Since we came to the Ecoliving Xperience in São Miguel, we have been immersed in a community. But, is it enough that we share the same space to live and work from? Or is there something else?
👉According to David M. Chavis & Kien Lee at Stanford Social Innovation Review (May, 2015),

“Members of a community have a sense of trust, belonging, safety, and caring for each other. They have an individual and collective sense that they can (…) influence their environments and each other.”.
Trust, belonging, safety, and caring. We also agree that these are the pillars of a great community. In addition, influencing positively both the people around you and the place you are living in.
🙌A community needs individuals that are engaged and committed to making a positive change. That’s why we love this “community” we now belong to here at the Quinta because everyone is, either individually or collectively, contributing to positive change.
May more of these experiences multiply around the world because we all need 💚

Who wants to have a bath?!
Terra Nostra

We went all in and all yellow 😜 at this thermal spring, at Terra Nostra Park, in São Miguel, Azores.

As part of the Spa Tour, organized by , we visited a few hot springs and enjoyed a day bathing. We might even have gotten a yellowish skin tone and hair color (no pictures to prove this, though)… 😅

Despite the unusual bath in these iron-rich waters, what we loved the most was the greenery at the park. It looked like something out of a Jurassic Park movie! Azores islands are truly unique ❤️

💚Ficamos fans da

Depois de 22 dias a viajar na Cereja 🍒 e 1500 km percorridos pelo norte e centro do país, o saldo é positivo 🥰

Ficamos fans da van life - da liberdade e flexibilidade, do não saber onde íamos dormir nessa noite, do contacto com a natureza.

A aventura também teve os seus desafios… Acordar com dores nas costas, f**ar um par de dias sem tomar banho 🙊, ou despejar a sanita portátil são pormenores que, apesar do desconforto, são meras lembranças quase desvanecidas.

O que f**a é uma impressão profunda, assim como tatuagem, das noites a observar as estrelas✨, das águas frescas dos rios, dos sorrisos da gente que viaja como nós.

Se queremos voltar a repetir? Oh, yeah! Bring it on, baby! Para o ano, se calhar há mais 😎
