Many people have asked why we decided to leave Mallorca and move to Girona.
The truth is, I don't have a simple answer.
Back in April, we made the decision, and just a few weeks later we were already packing boxes.
Since Bárbara and I have been together, we've always felt the urge to move every now and then. We enjoy arriving somewhere new, wandering through unfamiliar streets, finding our favourite places, meeting new people, and slowly making a place feel like home.
I don't really know where it comes from. Maybe we're a bit nomadic. Maybe we find it hard to stay in one place for too long. Or maybe we just enjoy the feeling of starting over.
And yes... I sometimes joke that being a Gemini with Gemini rising and a Gemini Sun might have something to do with it.
This time everything happened so quickly that I didn't get the chance to say goodbye to everyone. There are still a few hugs I owe.
Mallorca was our home for four years. We built a life there, met wonderful people, and learned a lot. We'll carry all of that with us wherever we go.
Now we're in Girona, starting again. We don't know how long we'll be here. To be honest, we've never known that anywhere we've lived.
