Did you know…. Eating outside could actually help you sleep better.
… it’s also one of my favourite little wellness habits. ♥️

There is something about taking your breakfast or lunch outside, feeling the sun on your face, breathing in the fresh air and simply being there for a few minutes.

Your body loves natural daylight. It helps keep your body clock anchored to daytime, which supports the natural rhythm of sleep later at night.

So today, if you can… take your coffee outside. Eat your lunch in the garden. Sit on the terrace for five extra minutes.

No complicated wellness routine.

Just you, some sunshine and a little moment to yourself.

Sometimes the simplest things are the things that help us come back to ourselves.

And that, you amazing beautiful human, is always a pretty good place to start.

Sundazzzzze let’s gooooo!

Dear amazing human,

Listen to this: YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY PERFECT.

Yes, you. Exactly as you are today. Not when you have sorted everything out, not when you have more energy, not when you have lost the weight, slept better, worked harder, become calmer or finally feel like you have your life completely together. You are already enough.

And sometimes I think we forget that while we are busy trying to be everything for everyone else.

So today, give what you can. If all you have time or energy for is sending someone a text, send the text. If you have time for a phone call, make the call. If you can show up and give someone your time, do that. And if you have absolutely nothing left to give for a while, then give nothing. Rest. Be quiet. Put your phone down. Take a breath. You are not a bad person because you cannot constantly give.

You do you. Let them do them.

You can love people without taking on their stress. You can care without carrying everything. You can be there for someone without abandoning yourself in the process.

And perhaps, after a long summer, you are feeling that you need to come back into balance too. Maybe you feel a little full of other people’s energy, a little scattered, tired or simply ready to clear some of what you have been carrying and create space for something new.

That is exactly where Reiki can be so beautiful. A moment to stop, reconnect, breathe and allow yourself to receive instead of always being the one giving.

My Reiki sessions are always available online, wherever you are, and from September 1st I’m back offering in-person sessions in Marbella.

If you feel that little nudge that it is time to reset, rebalance and create some new flow, Comment “perfect” or DM me and let’s find the right session for you.

And remember, amazing human: you don’t need to become someone else to be worthy of love, rest, kindness or good things.

YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. If you need a reminder in here to help you find back to you with the most beautiful healing sessions! 🙏🏻✨🤍

WALK. PAUSE. BREATHE. YOUR BODY DOESN’T NEED YOU TO RUSH.

Dear amazing human,
a little reminder from me today that you don’t always have to rush. In this little video, I’m walking through the city in my pink sneakers, getting some fresh air and movement into my day, and after about five minutes I simply stop. I’m not checking the time, trying to get my steps in or rushing to the next thing. I just stop by a pole, stretch my feet and my body a little, breathe and take my time. And honestly, that is also movement.

Walking is wonderful for both body and mind, but I also want you to remember that your body needs more than just steps. Give yourself a few minutes of slow, gentle stretching too. Your calves, feet, hips, back, shoulders and neck all deserve some attention. And please don’t forget your feet. They carry you everywhere, every single day, yet we so often forget about them. Take your shoes off when you can, move your toes, roll your feet over a ball, massage them with your hands or simply stretch them against a wall or pole like I’m doing here.

There is no prize for rushing through your day. Take the walk, get the fresh air, feel your feet, stop when your body asks you to, and let yourself experience the difference between moving through life and rushing through life. You don’t need another complicated wellness routine. Sometimes five minutes of walking, a little somatic stretching and a moment to breathe is enough to shift how you feel.

So put on your shoes, go outside, and take your time. Your body will thank you for it.

WAIT… IS YOUR “HEALTHY” EVENING DRINK MESSING WITH YOUR SLEEP?

I’ve been thinking about this because I keep seeing more and more alcohol-free wines, beautiful mocktails, botanical spirits and all these gorgeous alternatives popping up everywhere. And honestly, I love it. I think it’s wonderful that we have more choices than simply wine, beer or cocktails when we want something nice to drink.
But if you’re choosing alcohol-free because you’re hoping to sleep better, there is something I really want you to know.

Alcohol-free does not automatically mean sleep-friendly.

Some alcohol-free wines contain a surprising amount of sugar because sugar is often used to help recreate the body and sweetness of traditional wine. Many mocktails are made with syrups, fruit concentrates and sweet mixers, and then there are the “Zero” sodas. Yes, even those. Some still contain caffeine, and your body doesn’t care that the label says Zero. Caffeine is caffeine, and having it late in the day can absolutely interfere with sleep.
Please don’t shoot the messenger. 😂
I’m not saying you can’t enjoy a beautiful drink in the evening. I’m certainly not here to make your life less delicious. I love the ritual of it all. Dinner is finished, the kitchen is finally quiet, you sit down with something lovely in your glass and, for a moment, nobody needs anything from you.
Maybe that’s what we’re actually craving.

The pause. The ritual. The exhale.

So if you’re drinking less alcohol, try not to automatically replace it with something loaded with sugar or caffeine. Try sparkling water with cucumber, mint and lime. Chilled chamomile tea with orange and rosemary. Hibiscus tea with fresh berries and basil. Or a warm golden latte when you want something cozy.

And if you’ve been waking up at 2 or 3am, feeling restless, wired, or simply not as refreshed as you’d like, have a little look at what’s in your glass before you decide your sleep is the problem.
Sometimes the smallest evening change can make a surprisingly big difference the next morning.

Your evening drink should make you feel good tonight AND tomorrow.
The life you want starts the night before.

Hi Beautiful Human!

Yesterday I had a beautiful Reiki session here in Copenhagen, and it reminded me once again why I love this work so much. There is something very special about creating a quiet space where another person can simply let go for a while, breathe, soften and allow the body to receive what it needs. Every session is different because every person arrives with something different, and I never quite know what will unfold until we are there together.

I’m now in my last week in Copenhagen and I still have a few spaces available at my beautiful space at Grønnegade 18, right in the heart of Copenhagen. A place where we can take our time together, slow everything down and enjoy a little uninterrupted time away from the noise of everyday life.

WHAT YOU CAN BOOK WITH ME THIS WEEK:
✨ Reiki Healing
For deep relaxation, grounding and reconnecting with yourself.
✨ Scalp & Head Release (My take on Indian head massage)
A deeply relaxing treatment to release tension and help quieten a busy mind.
✨ Face, Jaw & Tension Release
Working with the areas where we often hold stress and tension, including the jaw, face, neck and scalp.
✨ Gua Sha & Lymphatic Treatment
Gentle, flowing techniques to support circulation, lymphatic flow and that feeling of lightness in the body.
✨ Somatic & Nervous System Work
Gentle body-based techniques, breathing and awareness to help you slow down and reconnect with yourself.
✨ Sleep Coaching
One-to-one support if your sleep, stress, routines or relationship with rest needs some attention. We look at what is really going on and create practical tools that work with your life, not against it.

So if you feel called, now is the time to send me a message and book your session. Last day is 24th.

I would love to see you here at Grønnegade 18 and have some beautiful, uninterrupted time together before I leave Copenhagen.
