Dear all, my name is Taina Mansikkamaki, and I am a yoga health coach, RYT-200 MBSR Hatha and Vinyasa Flow Yoga teacher,as well as Reiki practitioner. Dedicated to helping children and adults to find their potentials and inner balance, I offer classes for groups as well as tailored one-to-one sessions for private students. Good morning friends! Hope you had a nice weekend. It was a little bit difficult to wake up this morning but after a yoga session and this refreshing lemon smoothie, I am full of energy:
1 cup coconut milk (or yogurt)
1 tp lemon zest
3 tp lemon juice
1/2 tp honey
A little piece of ginger
1/2 tp turmeric
1 cup of mango
1/2 banana

Finding yourself in a new position can be a bit scary but also exhilarating and fun. I have just started to practice this posture and bending backwards with a bind felt weird in the beginning. I have eased myself into the asana little by little by being gentle with myself and allowing my body to get adjusted with a breath. Every day brings a new aspect to it. Just like in life. 🙂
