Cohort III has officially begun! 🎉

Today, we welcomed the participants of the ClinAddis Health Workforce Development Cohort III with an engaging opening session on Ethiopia’s Healthcare Landscape.

Over the next four weeks, participants will develop practical skills, expand their professional network, and prepare for the opportunity to advance into the ClinAddis Structured Exposure & Mentorship Program.

This is more than a cohort—it’s the beginning of a journey from exposure to excellence.

Learning Beyond the Classroom. Serving the Community.

As part of the ClinAddis Summer Health Exposure Bootcamp 2026, our participants had the privilege of attending and contributing to the Summer Health Volunteer Program at St. Peter Specialized Hospital, organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Health Ethiopia.

Through this experience, they witnessed firsthand how healthcare professionals, institutions, and volunteers work together to improve community health and promote equitable access to healthcare.

We sincerely thank St. Peter Specialized Hospital for providing our participants with this meaningful opportunity. Partnerships like these help bridge classroom learning with real-world experience and inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Applications Now Open | V2S Action Lab

Some of Ethiopia’s most important health challenges require more than ideas—they require people willing to build solutions.

The Volunteer-to-Solutions (V2S) Action Lab, an initiative of the National Health Innovation Lab Ethiopia (NILE), Federal Ministry of Health, in collaboration with ClinAddis Medical Community Hub, is now accepting applications.

If you’re a medical student (clinical years), health professional, or IT professional interested in healthcare innovation, this is your opportunity to work on real health system challenges through a three-week innovation residency.

Yesterday marks an exciting milestone as four outstanding participants from the ClinAddis Health Workforce Development Cohort II begin the next phase of their journey through our Structured Exposure & Mentorship Program.

Over the coming weeks, they’ll gain practical experience, receive mentorship from professionals, and contribute within real healthcare settings turning knowledge into meaningful impact.

Week 1 Complete!

Our first week of the ClinAddis Summer Health Exposure Bootcamp 2026 has officially come to an end.

This week, participants explored healthcare beyond textbooks through interactive sessions on first aid, healthcare careers, digital health, ethics, leadership, systems thinking, and much more.

The energy, curiosity, and engagement we’ve seen from this first cohort have been incredible.

Next stop: Hospital Exposure. 🏥

ClinAddis, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health Quality Improvement & Innovation Office, is launching the National Quality Improvement (QI) Training of Trainers (ToT) Program for recent health science graduates.

Selected participants will receive:

Spring Cohort II is officially underway.

What started as a room full of strangers quickly became a room full of ideas, ambition, and meaningful conversations about the future of healthcare.

Our opening session explored Ethiopia’s health system landscape, workforce realities, leadership, and the importance of intentional exposure in building a successful healthcare career.

A special thank you to Mr. Solomon from the Ministry of Health and Dr. Rediet for sharing their insights and experiences with our participants.

This is only the beginning.
