Vital Strategies Donates IT Equipment to Strengthen Tehulederie HDSS Infrastructure
================//==============
We extend our deepest gratitude to Vital Strategies for its generous donation of essential IT equipment- valued at over 1.6 million ETB- provided through the ImpactHDSS Project to the Tehulederie Health and Demographic Research Institute (THDRI), College of Medicine and Health Sciences, Wollo University.
This vital contribution includes desktop computers, tablets, a multi-function printer, a laminating machine, external hard drives, high-capacity flash drives, power banks, and Wi-Fi routers. Under the sub-grant awarded to Wollo University to cascade the ImpactHDSS project, these material support directly strengthens the operational capacity of the Tehulederie HDSS.
This remarkable support represents far more than an upgrade in HDSS office infrastructure; it is a strategic investment in data innovation, scientific knowledge, and public health infrastructure. By expanding our technological capacity, Vital Strategies directly empowers Tehulederie HDSS to generate high-quality primary health and demographic data. This evidence base is essential for informing local communities, guiding policymakers, and equipping key health stakeholders to make data-driven decisions that improve population well-being.
We are profoundly grateful for the vision, generosity, and steadfast commitment of Vital Strategies to building resilient research institutions. This partnership exemplifies how strategic collaboration accelerates the translation of routine health surveillance into actionable policy and lasting community impact.
Thank you for standing with Wollo University in our shared mission to advance public health research, drive evidence-based action, and inspire scientific excellence.
