In the Pacific, a paddle is more than a tool. It carries the strength of our ancestors, the stories of our people, and the spirit of every warrior who has crossed the ocean before us.

Today, I stand with a grateful heart and extend my deepest appreciation to Mana Va’a for allowing me to be part of your journey here in Tahiti. Being entrusted to design paddles for your va’a is more than an artistic opportunity—it is a privilege that connects me to the ocean, our culture, and our shared Pacific heritage.

As a son of Fiji, it has been an honor to leave a piece of my culture alongside the proud traditions of Tahiti. Every line, every motif, and every design carries respect for those who came before us and for those who continue to keep our traditions alive through va’a.

To the entire Manava'a O'viri Tahiti family, vinaka vakalevu for your trust, your friendship, and your belief in my work. Thank you for welcoming me as one of your own and for allowing our cultures to meet through art, tradition, and the ocean that unites us all.

A heartfelt thank you to the tatau 2026 for inviting and myself to proudly represent Fiji at this incredible event.

It was an honor to stand alongside talented tattoo artists from Thailand, New Zealand, and Tahiti, sharing our cultures, traditions, and passion for the art of tattooing.

Vinaka vakalevu for the warm hospitality, the friendships made, and the opportunity to showcase the beauty and heritage of Fijian tattooing on such a respected platform.

We leave with unforgettable memories, new connections, and even greater respect for the rich tattoo cultures of the Pacific and beyond.
