First "gift knits" have been received... a little scarf for Mum and a baby blanket for some dear friends' newest family member ☺️ note to future self.... start knitting waaaaayyy earlier than you think you need to... at least Mum didn't mind getting her Christmas present 5 days late 😂

Rusty coloured / autumn leaves jumper is finished and happily being worn ☺️

There is quite a noticeable mistake halfway down the body where I basically misread the pattern for a substantial number of rounds 🫣 but I couldn't be bothered undoing all my hard work and besides, I ain't perfect and feel that my knitting should be a reflection of that 😉

Also showing off my new cup made by the supremely talented . It is so beautiful and snuggles into my hand like a dream.... looking forward to many cups of tea or coffee being sipped from it whilst knitting up a storm.

Creating new Christmas rituals for myself. I've always loved decorating a Christmas tree but this year feels more poignant somehow. Cooked myself a special dinner of magret de canard with blueberry and sage sauce. Definitely feeling festive and getting into the Christmas spirit... not sure my neighbours are feeling the same after listening to my Christmas playlist on repeat for the past few hours 🤣

Honey curry chilli roasted cauliflower and sweet potato, on a creamy bed of lemony tahini yogurt, topped with crispy chickpeas, grilled halloumi and fresh mint. So. Damn. Delicious.

Now to try and resist devouring the leftover grilled halloumi dipped in the tahini yogurt... because eating a whole block of halloumi in one sitting would be wrong... wouldn't it? 🤔🤤😂
