How much water are we supposed to drink? Are 8 glasses enough?
The human body consists of 60% of water and our blood of 90% water.
By replacing our daily water intake with juices, squash, soda, tea and coffee, and the like, we deprive our body of it necessary amount of water. Many beverages we enjoy drain the water out of our bodies and can lead to dehydration.
We recommend calculating the water intake by body weight. To do this you calculate:
For children, you calculate weight x 30ml
For adults, you calculate weight x 50ml.
If you for example weigh 60kg you calculate 60x50=3.000 ml. Your ideal water intake is 3 liters of water.
I have noticed from clients I work with as well as myself that 3 liters are often a minimum amount (unless you are less than 60 kg) you should drink to see positive changes in your life, such as fewer cravings, less or no need for coffee, potential weight loss, detoxifying the body and much more.
