Another lake with perfect chilling spots.
Unfortunately we couldn't stay the night there as the parking was next to a busy main road.
We found an amazing little village, Les Adrets-de-l'Estérel, thanks to park4night again.
We decided to eat out at this pizzeria-restaurant, which did not disappoint at all.
The night was super quiet and dark.
No traffic, no owls, no dogs barking,... Nothing.
Just all quiet and dark. This was one of the most amazing and peaceful nights we had so far.

Although it hasn't been easy finding perfect spots, here and there are some hidden gems. 😍

On the road! 🚐
We are finally starting our trip. This is not just a trip, but the proper start of our free travel & van life.
Starting off in the South of France. The Camargue and some lakes inland after a visit to Aix-en-Provence. 🏞️🏝️

The area is stunning, and we have enjoyed our first few days so far.
The only unfortunate thing is places to stay the night.
So far, a lot of areas have signs that motorhomes cannot park, after certain hours or at all. They have a lot of times parking with even a height bar restriction. We are lucky as our van is one of the smaller ones, and can squeeze under a bar every now and then.

It is an unfortunate thing, and some swearing when trying to park somewhere, but we love every bit of experience here.
Thankfully helped us out a lot already and today we even used .

Mhhhhm.
Last week we started our own batch of Kimchi.
Now that the kimchi is fermented, we can start working with it.
Kimchi pizza & Kimchi pancakes 🤤

Bagnoles de l'Orne.
Another amazing place to visit on inland Normandie.
It has a park with a lake, and some forest to discover. You could also go for vélorails or hight parcours to add that little extra to your day.

Some things we did in France:
- Feeding and petting the horses of the farmer next door.
- Borrowing bycicles from Andrews parents to go do some shopping.
- Driving a tractor around the field.
- Being King and Queen of Bruger King.
- Enjoying pretty night skies.
- Foraging
- Bow and arrow in the backyard.
- Eating candy that makes your tongue blue.
- And going to some Vide Greniers.
