Today we launched something that takes health at home to the next level: Heart and lung sounds, analyzed in seconds. 🩺

Meet StethO Sense, a new service available in Withings+. It brings AI-assisted analysis of heart and lung sounds to BeamO, our clinically validated device combining a thermometer, a 1-lead ECG and a digital stethoscope.

The idea behind it is simple. These sounds change over time, and a check-up only ever captures one moment. StethO Sense now analyzes the sounds you record with BeamO, wheezes, crackles, heart and respiratory rate, detects potentially abnormal murmurs and returns the results in the Withings+ app. Whether that means checking on a child’s cough that lingers, keeping an eye on your heart all year round, or tracking asthma symptoms when cold and flu season hits.

To build it, we partnered with two specialists, eMurmur for heart sounds and StethoMe® for lung sounds. Each brings an AI that is CE-marked as a medical device.

We're thrilled to announce that Withings becomes Official Supplier of the French National Basketball Teams. 🏀

As part of this multi-year partnership with the Fédération Française de BasketBall, Withings will equip the France men's and women's national teams with its connected scales in the coming months. Body composition, tracked over time, is one of the indicators that matters most across a full season.
