ARCHETYPE was not born from a business plan. It was born from my lived experience.
Firstly, from being a Black immigrant woman who could not find natural products to care for my hair. Secondly, from my 3 years of clinical practice as an aromatherapist, working with hundreds of women, where stress and harmful ingredients in conventional hair products were the leading causes of hair and scalp issues.
Tired of searching - but never finding - natural solutions, I created them myself. And it worked not because I invented some magical formula, but because I understood that curly and textured hair is ever-changing, just like our cycle, like the seasons, like the phases of the moon. Every day brings our curly hair different needs.
It took me years of study, dedication, and a very clear mission: to pour health and well-being into every product I formulated in my kitchen. Three years later, here we are: production now takes place in a lab, our formulas are certified, and we deliver all across Europe.
My forever thanks to the more than 200 people who believed in this dream and took part in the crowdfunding campaign.
Because of you, ARCHETYPE is finally here.
