It's with a very very heavy heart that we share the news that our dearest friend Michael Stopper has passed away.

Michael was a regular feature at our weekly sessions, his laughter was so infectious you could hear him before you saw him. When he walked into the hall his smile lit up the entire room & he was met equally with big smiles & hugs from his friends.

Michael rest in peace, you may be gone but you certainly won't be forgotten.

Sending our deepest condolences to his family 🙏

A huge sincere thanks goes to one of our newest committee members Rowan Evenstar who led our group outting today & we also want to thank our Treasurer, Diane Bannerman for supporting Rowan with getting the lunches out for our group with the outstanding support from the cafe staff at VSA Easter Anguston Farm

Rowan is a superb addition & asset to our charity, working behind the scenes supporting us.

We feel extremely lucky & blessed that Rowan has joined us & given us her skills so we can enhance our contribution to what we do within the local community.

We took a trip away from our usual base & headed away to VSA Easter Anguston Farm

Such a lovely visit & everyone left with smiles on their faces 😁😁

Had a lovely tour around to see all the animals and finished off with a lovely lunch in their cafe!

Highly recommend a visit if you've never been!

🎉🎉 CELEBRATE ABERDEEN PARADE 2026 🎉🎉

Team Future Choices today took to the city centre for the annual event, this year with a difference!

Our Chairman led the entire 3rd Sector down, whilst our Vice Chairman was with the amazing volunteers from Cycling Without Age Scotland - Aberdeen City (thank you so much for the invite)

Then the rest of the team Paraded with all the other groups.

The weather was even kind to us all too 🙏

Huge thanks to our Vice Chairman Ean Ean volunteers for arranging today's trip to Duthie Park.

Massive thank you to Alistair & his incredible team from Cycling Without Age Scotland - Aberdeen City for today's session, everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves going around the park enjoying the sights.

Then it was time to tuck into a lovely finger buffet of fine sandwiches & cake bakes!

And the weather behaved too ☺️

Social inclusion at it's best!
