The girl I was then vs the practitioner I am now. 🤍
I was never told no.
Years ago, I went to practitioners who kept filling me, and I didn’t know when enough was enough. Add in years of sunbed use, and I was doing my skin absolutely no favours.
Looking back now, I can see how much I needed someone to say “NO, you don’t need that.”
But nobody did.
That experience has shaped the practitioner I am today.
I WILL tell my clients no.
I will tell you when I don’t think you need something.
I will tell you when I think you’re doing too much.
I will tell you when we need to focus on your skin health instead of adding more filler.
And I will never treat you just because you’re asking for a treatment.
Because being a good aesthetic practitioner isn’t about saying yes to everything.
Sometimes, the best thing I can do for my client is say NO.
