Great news for neurodivergent families in sale. It’s a drop in so no need for an appointment if your searching for support

Good news for families in Sale!
A new service has launched in Trafford to help families with children and young people who are autistic, have ADHD or are otherwise neurodivergent.
One of the most important things about it is that you don’t need to have a diagnosis to ask for help.
I know that for many parents, working out where to go and who to speak to can be half the battle. The new Neurodiversity Navigators are there to talk things through, point you towards the right support and help with issues like sleep, behaviour, nutrition and relationships.

And there’s a weekly drop-in here in Sale:
📍 Sale West Community Centre, Newbury Avenue
📅 Every Monday
⏰ 9.30am-3.30pm
👍 No appointment needed - just pop in

You can also contact the team on:
📞 0161 553 1536
📧 [email protected]

I'm really pleased to see this support being made easier for families to access locally. If you know someone in Sale who might find it useful, please pass it on.

Have you ever found yourself thinking… “I just don’t know what’s going on with my teenager anymore”?

Maybe they’re more withdrawn than they used to be.
More anxious. More emotional. More reactive.

And you’re trying to understand what’s underneath it all ,while wondering how you can actually help.

If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone. ❤️

Finding My Balance is a small-group wellbeing programme created to give young people a safe space to pause, breathe, explore what’s going on for them and discover practical ways to navigate the ups and downs of growing up.

It’s not therapy.

It’s a supportive, hands-on space where we explore emotions, recognise triggers, build self-awareness and develop tools that young people can actually use in everyday life.

Through games, art, role play, movement and real conversation, we’ll gently explore things like:

🌱 noticing anxiety before it becomes overwhelming
🌱 understanding what might be sitting underneath big emotions
🌱 learning ways to regulate and work through difficult feelings
🌱 recognising when confidence starts to dip
🌱 finding their voice and feeling more able to use it
🌱 building a stronger understanding of themselves

And although it might look like games, creativity and conversation from the outside… there’s something much deeper happening underneath.

It’s about helping young people begin to understand themselves, rather than feeling like there’s something wrong with them.

💚 October’s group is specifically for ages 11–13.

If you have an older teen, don’t worry ,I’ll be opening a future group for them too. This is just the beginning.

📅 3 Saturdays: 3rd, 10th & 17th October
🕚 11am–5pm
📍 St Luke’s, Bowdon, Altrincham

If you’d like to know more, comment BALANCE and I’ll send you all the information. 🌱

Lots happening at Conscious Minds Collective over the next few months 💚

Every 4th Wednesday starting 23rd Sept 7.30pm - 8.30pm, I open the doors for an evening of sound. Come and unwind with me, breathe a little deeper, and let the crystal bowls and gong take care of the rest. St Luke’s, Bowdon. Booking link in my bio.

✨This one means a lot to me. If you’ve watched your teen shut down, snap over nothing, or struggle to tell you what’s actually going on in their head, you’re not alone, and neither are they. Finding My Balance is three Saturdays this October where young people get real tools to understand their emotions, recognise their triggers, and feel less overwhelmed by what’s going on inside them. This is our very first round, spaces are small, and the first 4 places get early bird pricing.

Teen yoga and kids yoga classes are both coming soon, DM to be added to the waitlist.

If you’re interested in any of the offerings? Drop a comment or send a DM and I’ll get you all the details.

Well… it’s official! 🏃‍♀️❤️

I GOT IN!!! 😱🎉

I’m running the London Marathon 2027 for ! 🏃‍♀️💚

Honestly, I’m still processing it! 😂

The London Marathon has been on my bucket list for years, and with me turning 50 this year, it feels like the perfect time to finally stop saying “one day” and actually do it.

I’m excited. I’m nervous. I’m probably a little bit mad… and I’m already questioning what my knees are going to think about this decision! 🤣

But I’m also incredibly proud to be doing it for a charity that means so much to me through the work I do with young people.

So… 26.2 miles around London it is! 😬

Bring on the training, the blisters, the tears, the questionable life choices and hopefully an unforgettable day! 😂🏃‍♀️

And yes… I’ll be fundraising along the way, so if you’d like to support me, I’d absolutely love to have you along for the journey. ❤️
And all info is in my bio ✨
LONDON MARATHON 2027… HERE I COME! 🎉🏃‍♀️✨

I’d like to think they would be held accountable.. but will they ? It’s not the team on the ground day to day supporting our young people it’s the powers that be who have done this. When will failing our children stop

🚨 Trafford’s children’s services have just been rated “Inadequate” by Ofsted — and that should concern every resident. 🚨

Ofsted has found serious failings in Trafford Children’s Services, under Labour, with leaders unable to recognise, prioritise and address key weaknesses. Since the previous inspection a couple of years ago, when services were rated as “Requires Improvement”, most areas have deteriorated significantly.

The report highlights serious concerns, including children being left at risk of harm and vulnerable children being left in unsafe situations for too long.

The report also highlighted that Council leaders and Labour Councillors were so unaware of the dangers Trafford's children were facing that Ofsted had to point them out and bring them to their attention.

But it’s not just children’s services.

Previously the Independent Audit Commission found that, under Labour, “Adult social care had all but collapsed” meaning vulnerable and disabled adults were being failed and neglected.

Under the Conservatives, Trafford's care leaver services were judged as "Outstanding", making them joint highest performing in the country.

We also transformed a failing service, which under Labour was in the worst 10% of the UK, into one of the best performing in the Top 25 with our services rated as “Excellent”.

Labour have destroyed all that and put Trafford’s children at risk. People need to resign or be fired.

Me and Busta have had the best time. My cup is well and truly full. Busta’s already missing his new furry friends Ted and Wilma, who made him feel so at home. Cornwall, you’ve gone and stolen another piece of my heart ❤️ And none of this would’ve happened without my beautiful friend Charlotte Speculo Reik . I will never forget it…

Feeling it a bit lately? School holidays, work, just life in general, whatever it is, come and switch off for an hour.

There’s something really lovely that happens in a sound bath. The vibrations from the bowls help your body ease out of that busy, switched on state and into deep rest, the kind your nervous system doesn’t always get the chance to reach on its own. It’s not about falling asleep, it’s about properly relaxing, letting your mind drift wherever it wants to go, and giving your body permission to just rest.

Come on your own, bring a friend, a partner, or treat someone who needs it. Everyone’s welcome.

🧘 WHAT TO BRING
Yoga mat, pillow, something warm to wrap up in (your body cools down once you relax, so bring the blanket even if it’s a warm evening) and water.

⏰ WHEN
Wed 5th August, 7.30 – 8.30pm

📍 WHERE
St Luke’s, Bowdon
Vicarage Ln, Altrincham WA14 3BN

Nothing to do, nothing to get right. Just lie back and let the sound do the work.

Spaces are limited so message me or book through the link in my bio.

Bring a friend and you’ll get £5 off when you book

Me and Busta living our best life … we’ve had so many long beach walks… we’ve done Rock, Polzeath even though I didn’t get any photos as we were just in our element and then Newquay yesterday. So far I think my car is 90% sand but I don’t care. Busta is having the time of his life. Yet you’d think not by his face in the car … that was his toddler face as he had just shaken all the sand off in the car .. he clearly gave NO sh*ts 🤣🤣 Sadly Newquay boathouse no longer do their famous paella 🥘… and today we are off to padstow as it’s a little overcast … but lots of walks we will do ❤️
