At Dunham Care, we focus on enriching the lives of our residents, empowering our staff, and setting a new standard in care excellence.

We're looking for a kind, motivated and lifestyle-focused Care Home Manager to lead one of our beautiful care homes in Kent.

You'll take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the home and lead a dedicated team in delivering exceptional, person-centred care.

What we're looking for:
✔️ Registered Nurse qualification
✔️ At least 5 years' management experience in care
✔️ A strong, visible leader who builds lasting relationships

What we offer:

👋 Please join us in welcoming Claire, our new Home Manager at Bowdon!

Claire always knew she wanted to be a nurse. She began her career in care at just 15 and went on to spend 26 years in the NHS. There she rose to Senior Sister Ward Manager before specialising in Infection Prevention and Control, supporting local care homes and GP practices.

She's passionate about developing others. She has helped seven international nurses join the NMC register and supported colleagues to achieve distinction-level leadership qualifications.

Professional, caring and fair, Claire leads by example. She believes in truly person-centred care, where every resident is supported to live a fulfilled life and families are part of the journey.

Outside work, you'll find her on horseback (she's been riding for 50 years!), enjoying live music or cooking up something delicious.

Every activity is a chance for our residents to connect, laugh and enjoy themselves, and this week gave us all of that and more. 💛

Join us next Friday 25th September from 2pm for coffee, cake, a raffle, and live entertainment from Le'arna — all in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

Everyone is welcome — residents' families, neighbours, or anyone who fancies a slice of cake for a good cause. No need to book, just come along!
