House Rules

We expect our users to be respectful and courteous at all times and follow our ‘house rules’:
* all users must comply with the social media platform’s own Terms of Use as well as these house rules
* you are wholly responsible for any content you post including content that you choose to share
* we will report and seek to remove any social media profiles that are set up using Northern HSC Trust imagery without permission

We will remove messages (where we are able to, and without notification) and report or block users who direct messages to us via social media which we believe:
* bully, harass or intimidate any individual or organisation
* are unlawful, libellous, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harmful, obscene, profane, sexually oriented or racially offensive
* are deceptive or misleading
* infringe or violate someone else’s rights
* violate the law
* violate any intellectual property rights
* discuss ongoing legal proceedings
* are spam (persistent negative and/ or abusive tweeting in which the aim is to provoke a response)
* advertise products or services
* are irrelevant or off-topic
* are disruptive
* are repetitive

We will also remove, block, report or ban any user who:
* encourages others to post such messages
* uses offensive images as their profile picture
* has an offensive user name

As part of , our Gynae Cancer Nurse Shauna McMillan sat down with Elizabeth Rainey from Newtownabbey, who openly shares her experience with endometrial cancer.

After noticing an unusual discharge, followed a few weeks later by bleeding, Elizabeth contacted her GP. It was this quick action that led to an early diagnosis and successful treatment.

The Northern Trust Recovery College course timetable for September and October is now available.

The Recovery College offers courses, for everyone aged 16+, which provide the opportunity to learn from each other and to develop skills to manage their own recovery journey or to begin a new one.

Courses are currently delivered using a hybrid approach of online and face-to-face sessions.

Online courses are delivered via live sessions with our facilitators and our face to face courses take place in various community venues throughout the Trust area.

While treatment is an important part of recovery, it's often the kindness and compassion shown by staff that makes the biggest difference and our colleagues in C1 in Antrim Area Hospital are testament to that 👏

This World Sexual Health Day, we're encouraging people to take control of their sexual health, and one way you can do that is by attending sexual health screening ✅

We offer free, confidential sexual health screening at Mid Ulster Hospital in Magherafelt, Causeway Hospital in Coleraine and Braid Valley Hospital in Ballymena 🏥
