One of the biggest things I see as a coach isn’t people struggling to complete tasks—it’s people who are never given the autonomy or space to work things out for themselves.
Most people genuinely want to help. They give the answer, step in, or take over. But when we constantly show someone what to do, we often stop them from learning how to think.
Growth comes from trying, making mistakes, reflecting, and solving problems—not from always being given the solution.
Sometimes the greatest support isn’t giving the answer. It’s giving someone the confidence, patience, and freedom to find it themselves.
