AI-generated marketing images are becoming more and more common in aesthetics and skin clinics.

And honestly? I get why.

They save time, they look polished and they can be a useful tool when you’re trying to keep up with content creation.

But I do wonder whether we’re reaching a point where everything is starting to look a little too similar.

Same flawless faces.
Same luxury clinic rooms.
Same poreless skin.
Same glossy, slightly unreal finish.

For me, your marketing should still feel like you.

Your standards, your values, your personality and your identity as a business matter just as much as how polished your content looks.

AI can be useful, but I don’t think it should replace the human part of your brand.

What do you think? Is it just a smart way to save time, or are businesses at risk of losing their individuality?

Hair feeling thinner, flatter or just not as healthy as it used to?

It might be time to look at the scalp as well as the hair itself.

I’m now retailing Nioxin Systems by Wella, including the new Age Defense range, to support clients dealing with hair thinning, scalp concerns, and visible ageing changes in the hair.

The best part is that it isn’t one-size-fits-all.
There are different systems depending on whether your hair is natural or coloured, and whether thinning is mild or more progressed. There is also the Age Defense range for clients wanting support with fullness, smoothness and maintaining natural colour.

If you’re not sure where to start, that is exactly what I’m here for. I can help you choose the most appropriate option based on your scalp, hair type and goals.

DM me “NIOXIN” for advice or to order

Hair loss is not one single condition.

It can be pattern hair loss, telogen effluvium, alopecia areata, scalp inflammation, nutritional deficiency, thyroid disease, medication related hair loss, traction, breakage, or scarring alopecia.

And this is exactly why the consultation matters.

Before jumping into PRP, polynucleotides, shampoos, supplements or anything regenerative, we need to understand what type of hair loss we are dealing with.

Some forms are temporary.
Some need blood tests.
Some need scalp treatment.
Some need dermatology input.
Some need acting on quickly to reduce the risk of permanent follicle damage.

Hair loss treatment should never be one size fits all.

At Oscare Wellness, my approach is to assess first, explain honestly, and only recommend treatment when it actually makes sense.

The aesthetics and hair restoration industry is definitely moving in a more regenerative direction, and I am seeing more people asking about PRP for hair thinning and post hair transplant support.

My honest view?

PRP currently has the strongest evidence out of the regenerative injectable options for hair thinning, especially when follicles are still active but struggling.

Polynucleotides are promising, but the hair evidence is still much smaller.

Exosomes are exciting, but this is an area where the marketing is moving faster than the regulation and long-term data.

And Nioxin? Useful scalp and hair fibre support, but not a replacement for proper assessment or treatment planning.

Hair loss is emotional. It deserves more than hype.

It deserves an evidence-led plan.

DM me if you would like to book a hair and scalp consultation.

Microneedling and RF microneedling are often spoken about as if they are the same thing, but they are not.

Microneedling works by creating controlled micro-injuries in the skin to stimulate repair and renewal.

RF microneedling goes a step further by combining microneedling with radiofrequency energy, delivering heat deeper into the skin to support firmer, smoother-looking skin.

But here is the important bit: one treatment is rarely enough.

You may notice an early glow, but meaningful changes in texture, scarring, laxity and skin quality build gradually as the skin remodels over time.

Think course, not quick fix.

Not sure which treatment is right for your skin? Book a consultation and we can work it out properly.

Two–three weeks after just one Stylage® Hydromax treatment!

Shared with consent, these side profiles show what true skin quality improvement looks like — softer fine lines, smoother texture and that healthy, dewy bounce.

What Hydromax does

Replenishes deep hydration and radiance

Improves crepiness and fine lines (cheeks, peri-oral, lower face)

Boosts firmness and skin elasticity without changing your features

Treatment plan
Most clients start with 2 sessions, 4 weeks apart, then maintain every 6–9 months. Results continue to build over the following weeks. (Individual results vary and a clinical consultation is required.)

Ready for glow that isn’t just surface-level?

Some of you might not know this, but I’ve been working alongside Liz at Elizabeth Aesthetics for around three years now. I've just not shouted about it properly.

Liz and I go way back (to 2009 in fact!), and we share the same priorities: safe practice, evidence-based treatment plans, and honest advice (even when it’s not the “quick fix”).

I run clinics at Liz’s location 1–2 days a week, and I’m also one of the clinic’s CQC Registered Managers, supporting governance, patient safety and standards across the service.

What this means for you:
You get access to a broader range of treatments under one roof, with a joined-up team who will always guide you to the right clinician.

Had my first tattoo today, so naturally I am turning it into skin barrier content.

Because whilst tattoos are personal, meaningful and often beautiful, they are also a controlled injury to the skin.

The needle has disrupted the skin barrier, which means the focus now is simple:

- keep it clean
- let it heal
- do not pick
- do not over-treat it
- protect it from the sun once healed
- respect the skin underneath the artwork

I see a lot of tattooed skin in clinic, and it is easy to forget that tattooed skin is still skin. It can get dry, itchy, irritated, reactive and it can still develop skin changes that need checking.

So yes, I am very happy with my first tattoo.

But the nurse in me is also thinking: protect the barrier, watch the healing, and do not annoy it.

Artwork on the outside. Skin health underneath.
