As 2026 quietly opens its door, I want to pause and offer my deepest thanks to each of you who walked alongside MindstuffUK this past year.
To everyone who joined mindfulness courses, forest bathing walks, lakeside meditations, winter gatherings, retreats, and moments of stillness in nature — thank you for showing up with open hearts, curiosity, courage, and presence. You brought the practice to life. You reminded me, again and again, that mindfulness is not something we do alone, but something we grow together 🌿
To those who entrusted me with your stories in the counselling space — thank you for your bravery, honesty, and willingness to sit with what is tender, complex, and real. It has been an honour to witness your strength, your healing, and your becoming. I never take that trust lightly.
And to everyone who supported, shared, encouraged, recommended, listened, or quietly believed in this work — thank you. Your support is the soil that allows this work to continue to root, breathe, and expand.
As we step into 2026, may it be a year of gentleness. May you move at a pace that honours your nervous system. May you find moments of rest, connection, and meaning. May you remember that you are already enough — just as you are.

Autumn’s Fairy Dust

I am the dust of autumn skies,
A golden spark in fading light.
I scatter glimmers where silence lies,
And turn the dusk to something bright.

Each leaf that falls, each step I take,
A velvet path of truth I make.
No stone untouched, no moment missed,
Each breath a gift, each breeze a kiss.

The inner critic fades to rest,
As kindness stirs within my chest.
Compassion’s glow, both fierce and kind,
Soft lanterns lighting heart and mind.

So let me walk through autumn’s hue,
A fairy dust for me, for you.

Sometimes transformation doesn’t look dramatic.
It’s not always about grand breakthroughs or sudden change.

Often, it looks more like the butterfly—patiently emerging in its own time, carried gently to the flowers that will nourish it.

The orange blooms remind us of warmth, creativity, and joy. They don’t ask the butterfly to hurry or be anything other than what it is. They simply hold space.

Self-compassion works in the same way.
It’s allowing ourselves to unfold at our own pace.
It’s giving ourselves kindness when we feel fragile, and encouragement when we’re ready to stretch our wings.
It’s remembering that every stage—the cocoon, the pause, the first flutter—is part of the journey.

If you are in a season of rest, be gentle with yourself.
If you are in a season of growth, celebrate each step.
And if you’re somewhere in between, trust that you are still becoming.

🌿 To Everyone Out There Facing Quiet Battles
A Letter from a Counsellor Who Sees You

Dear you,

Yes—you, the one who smiles on the outside but lies awake at night with a heart that won’t settle.

The one who’s holding it together for everyone else.
The one who’s been through more than you let on.
The one who’s tired, but still trying.
Still helping. Still hoping.
Still quietly surviving.

This is for you.

I want you to know:
You’re not weak for struggling.
You’re not broken for feeling lost.
You’re not alone in your overthinking, your sadness, your fear, or your exhaustion.

Life is hard sometimes. It doesn’t mean you’ve failed. It means you’re human.

And if you ever feel like you need a space to just exhale...
To not be judged.
To not have to perform.
To not be told to "just be positive"...
That space exists.

I hold it gently for people, every week.
In that space, you don’t have to have the right words.
You don’t have to be okay.
You don’t have to explain why you feel the way you do.
You can just come as you are.

Counselling isn’t about being “fixed.”
It’s about being met.
With kindness. With care. With no agenda but your healing.

So if you’re feeling that tug—that whisper that says “maybe it’s time”—
I’m here.
When you're ready.
