This year, all six of our Connaught Care Collection homes are coming together to celebrate Care Home Open Week with a fantastic World Cup themed programme of events, and everyone in our local communities are invited to join us, including you!

Care Home Open Week is a wonderful opportunity to open our doors, showcase life within our homes, and bring together residents, families, neighbours, local businesses, healthcare professionals and community groups for a week of connection, fun and celebration.

Across our homes, you'll find a variety of football-inspired activities, entertainment, refreshments, community gatherings and opportunities to meet our amazing residents and teams.

Today we celebrate our dedicated nurses for International Nurses Day!

We are privileged to work so closely with nurse teams in our local hospitals, GP's and the district nurses in our community who visit our homes on a regular basis to support in providing the best care for our residents.

Nurses work tirelessly and are many a time the unsung heroes of the healthcare industry. At Connaught Care Collection we appreciate everything you do for us, our residents and our local communities, we don't know where we would be without you! Pop in anytime for a refreshment on us, especially today.

At our sites across the estate today we are giving special gifts to our nurses in the community but any day, for any reason, nurses are always welcome to a quiet space, a piece of cake and a refreshment with us.

Friendship has a beautiful way of forming in the most unexpected places here at the Chase 💛

Jai has been supporting Margaret since day one. Once a PE lecturer, Margaret has discovered something truly meaningful through her sessions with him. The bond they’ve built is incredibly special, giving her goals, a strong sense of purpose, and helping her feel like herself again.

Whether they’re exercising in the gym, enjoying walks, heading out on trips to a the shops , or simply spending time together, it’s these shared moments that make all the difference.

We’re so grateful for Jai, not just for his motivation and dedication, but for the genuine kindness and respect he shows to every resident. 🌟

Today we celebrate the incredible mothers who make our communities so special. To the amazing mums within our local communities, the dedicated mothers who are part of our Connaught Care team, and the wonderful residents who have spent a lifetime nurturing and caring for others, today is for you.

Your strength, kindness and unconditional love inspire us every day. Whether you are caring for your family, supporting others through your work, or sharing your wisdom and stories with us, your impact is truly priceless. The care you show each and every day informs us the kind of empathy, attention and dedication we must show and put into practice in what we do in every home, every day.

The judges said:
