So this is 30! 💖🥳

Both personally and as a therapist, I’ve seen that the most meaningful growth rarely happens in dramatic, life-changing moments. It happens quietly: in choosing a boundary, asking for help, speaking to yourself with kindness, or responding differently than you did yesterday.

If my twenties taught me anything, it’s this:

You are allowed to evolve.
You are allowed to outgrow old versions of yourself.
And you are never behind.

A reminder that healing isn’t only found in conversation. Sometimes it’s found in movement, in breath, and in learning to feel at home in your body.

Pilates is a practice of presence, strength, and self-compassion.

I feel incredibly lucky to have found such a lovely Pilates community. There’s something special about moving alongside people who encourage one another and make showing up feel easy.

And having such a beautiful studio right on my doorstep? Even better! 🤍✨

This work is relational. It involves sitting with people through their stories, emotions, challenges, and healing.
While there is pain in the room at times, there is also hope, growth, laughter, resilience, and moments of real human connection.

It is getting to hear clients say things like:
✨”I listened to my body today”
✨”I know I’m doing the best I can”
✨”I put my my needs first.”
✨”I asked for help.”
✨”I passed the test.”
✨”I finally set the boundary!”
✨”I can see the pattern now!”
✨”I got the job.”
✨”I have hope.”

Therapy isn’t a test- and you don’t have to be the “perfect client.”

Many people worry they’ll say the wrong thing, ask for too much, or disappoint their therapist.

The reality? Therapy works best when it feels collaborative. Asking questions, giving feedback, and sharing what you need aren’t interruptions to therapy they’re part of the work.

If you’ve ever wondered, “Can I ask my therapist that?” the answer is probably yes.
