Grateful for another 5 star review 🙏🏻

Every treatment is tailored to each client, on the day. That effectively means no 2 treatments are ever the same. Ever.

One size definitely doesn’t fit all at The Muscle Inn 💪🏻

Out of office is ON 👌🏻

A few days of much needed R&R to recharge the batteries and rest the hands 🙌🏻 Might even book a massage for myself 💆🏻‍♀️

Responses to messages could be longer than usual …. for obvious reasons 👇🏻

When you get a referral to treat someone who’s suffered severe pain from cluster headaches for over 20 years and receive this message the next day, is a reminder of the benefits targeted and appropriate soft tissue work can provide.
Living with chronic, severe pain is debilitating and life changing.
Sometimes we get the win and help bring relief to sufferers.

Delighted to have provided Sports Massage at the Commonwealth Games 2026.

It doesn’t seem that long ago I was working in the Athletes Village at CG14 and it was lovely to catch up with my fellow sports massage practitioner, Lisa Graham, after meeting all these years ago!
How time flies when you’re having fun 🤩

Thanks to officialsportsservices for the opportunity 🙌🏻

A little sunshine, a little garden magic and time just for you ☀️ 🌻

The Muscle Inn is nestled right here in my beautiful garden, surrounded by flowers in full bloom, fresh air and the warmth of the sun.
Just like the garden needs time, care and nurturing to flourish, so do we! 🌳 Why not come and let massage melt away the stress of everyday life 😌

Whether you’re juggling work / family life, or, like me, training for your next running event, or suffering aches from poor posture at work or just feel like you need an MOT, drop me a message and get booked in 💆🏻

What a week at the Royal Highland Show! 🚜✨
I had the absolute privilege of pitching up with the incredible team at Farmstrong Scotland, providing on-site seated acupressure massage to some of the hardest working people in the country— our farmers.
Coming from a farming background myself, I know only too well that it is a 24/7 job that takes a massive toll on the body, but the mental pressure can be just as heavy. That’s where seated acupressure massage comes in. It’s not just about loosening tight shoulders; it’s a powerful tool for mental health:
🧠 **Calms the Nervous System:** It triggers the release of endorphins (our natural feel-good chemicals) and lowers cortisol (stress hormones).
⏰ **Fast & Accessible:** Done fully clothed over a shirt (or boiler suit!), it takes just 15–20 minutes to reset a racing mind.
🌬️ **Deep Relaxation:** By targeting specific pressure points along the back, neck, and shoulders, it can take the body out of 'fight or flight' mode and into a state of calm.
Taking just 15 minutes out of a hectic day at the Show allowed these farmers to step out of the noise, breathe, and reset.
Thank you to everyone who took a moment for themselves and sat in the chair, and to FarmStrong Scotland for the vital work they do for wellbeing in the agricultural community. 💚 🌾

Great to see this report acknowledging how people can benefit from Complementary Alternative Medicines (CAMs) through integrated healthcare.
The survey focussed on one simple question “What makes you feel well?”
Massage came out on top 🙌🏻

Professor Sir Sam Everington, Co-Chair of the College of Medicine said:
“The best outcomes for patients are delivered when the focus is on what matters to them and when they are allowed to take the lead. We call this personal medicine, a blend of traditional bio-medicine and alternatives which focuses on the simple question: what makes you well? - physically, mentally and socially. Patients tell us that CAMs play a really important part in this balance.”

Dr Naveed Akhtar, chairman of the Integrated Medicine Alliance, said:
"While professional debate has remained polarised, the public has quietly made its choice. Complementary therapies are already helping large numbers of people and easing pressure on the NHS.”
