Friendly and relaxed community yoga classes @ The Mill, Main Street, Cloughmills.

Yoga classes with Anna back at the Old Mill, Cloughmills πŸ§˜β€β™‚οΈπŸ§˜β€β™€οΈπŸ™

These classes are suitable for beginners to the more experienced yogis.

Classes are 1 1/2 hours long. This fuller length class allows us to really focus on ourselves, in a way that isn't rushed, so that we are getting maximum benefit from our time spent on the mat.

Usual class structure, from start to finish consists of:
* mindfullness meditation, moving our focus away from the busy, often stressful, thinking mind and into the body and the breath.
* mobility and stretches, relieving stiffness and tension, getting energy moving in the body, and preparing the body for our main asanas (postures).
*main asanas, where we move our bodies into various yoga postures, building on strength, flexibility, and vitality.
*Classes always end with a nice, full, savasana, or guided relaxation.

Every class is a little bit different, as I introduce various yogic elements to my students.

These are friendly, relaxed, community classes, and new students will be warmly welcomed 😊
My aim is to have every student leaving each class feeling calmer and stronger, both in mind and body, nurtured, and relaxed.

Plenty of spaces available for Tuesday morning classes at present.
Spaces for Wednesday evening class are limited, so please contact me directly on messenger, WhatsApp, text, or a good old-fashioned chat on the phone, if you want to talk about whether the class is for you.

Hatha style yoga classes, suitable for beginners and the more experienced yogis.
This class is a gentle style of yoga, aimed to improve flexibility, strength, and mobility, while relieving tension, stress and trauma from the body and mind.
During these classes we focus on breathing practices, gratitude, relaxation, and prioritising self care, which results in improvements in all areas of life including relationships, career, health, and emotional well-being.
We will move our bodies in ways that are self nurturing and empowering, working at a level that suits each individual person.
We are all unique, and our practice honours this fact.
If you haven't attended my class before, you are very welcome to come along and enjoy a free taster class!

Wednesday evening class is fully booked, but you are welcome to join the waiting list.
Still several spaces available in the Tuesday morning class.

These classes are suitable for everyone, at all levels of ability.
It doesn't matter if you have never practiced yoga before. These classes are suitable for absolute beginners, and seasoned yogis πŸ§˜β€β™‚οΈπŸ§˜β€β™€οΈ

I teach Hatha style yoga, which is a slowed down, gentle paced style suitable for everyone.
During these classes, we really focus on our breath, which allows the mind to become calm and quiet.

Although a gentler paced class, you will also build strength, challenging the body, and getting a really good, juicy stretch in all the areas of your body that needs it.

You will be encouraged to tune in to your own body, listening to it's cues, which helps develop a deeper connection to yourself.
You will practice at a level that is suitable for you as an individual.
Whether you are a beginner, or have been practicing yoga for many years, I offer adaptations in these classes that make the practice suit you, whatever stage you are at in your life.
