Robin's Trust Elusen colled babi yn Gwynedd a Mon - Charity support group for baby loss based in Gwynedd and Mon

Robin’s Trust is a community-based support group and charity, set up by someone who has experienced the heartbreak of baby loss first-hand and is passionate about improving support available for others who have also experienced this. After the loss of two babies, in 2022 Emma Barker set up Robin’s Trust with the aim of providing support to anyone, male or female, who has encountered the family suffering of a miscarriage, stillbirth, ectopic, fertility difficulties, or paediatric bereavement. Robin’s Trust helps others through this difficult experience, aiming to reduce the feelings of isolation that can come from this loss. Whether you lost a baby very recently or many years ago, our aim is to support and help you through this challenging time by building friendships and community in an emotionally safe place. Robin’s Trust Aims:
• Provide a supportive community environment for anyone who has been through baby loss
• Signpost people to helpful organisations, resources, books and anything else that members have found helpful
• Raise awareness locally of baby loss and the impact it has
• Improve care and support of anyone going through loss
• Allow for more open discussion, acceptance and support
• Enable members to meet other people who understand how they are feeling and can offer peer support

"Shortly after filming for The Traitors finished, I miscarried silently at 10 weeks."

When Charlotte went on the The Traitors in 2024, she told Claudia Winkleman she wanted to use the prize money to fund fertility treatment. She and her partner Alex had been trying for a baby for over a year, and had already a devastating miscarriage.

Over the next year, Charlotte got pregnant again multiple times but sadly had 3 more miscarriages. She says she found Tommy's website to be an incredible resource during her experience, helping her make sense of what was happening.

When the couple found out Charlotte was pregnant for the 5th time in August 2025, they felt apprehensive. Charlotte went to the first scan alone, expecting to hear bad news. But this time, she was told their baby was okay. Baby Zoe was born earlier this year 🩷

"Miscarriage is often an invisible loss, so the fact it's being acknowledged is great. It's a great message but this is just the beginning as it's unpaid."

Yesterday, our Ambassador Myleene Klass spoke on Loose Women about the new right to 2 weeks bereavement leave after miscarriage.

From April 2027, anyone who loses a baby before 24 weeks of pregnancy will be entitled to 2 weeks unpaid leave.

We're pleased the Government have listened to feedback from families, making sure the leave is 2 weeks rather than 1.

But we're very disappointed the leave will be unpaid. This will make it an unrealistic option for many parents and families, particularly those on low incomes. We'll continue to push for improvements to care and support for families facing baby loss.
