NEW BEGINNINGS RECOVERY GROUP – BANGOR
Are you struggling with alcohol or drugs, or have you had problems with them in the past and feel like you could use some support?
New Beginnings Recovery Group is a friendly, confidential and supportive space where people can come together, talk, listen and help one another through recovery.
We understand that taking that first step through the door can be difficult. You might feel nervous, anxious, embarrassed, or unsure of what to expect. You don't need to be. There is no judgement, no pressure and no expectation for you to talk about anything you're not comfortable with. You can simply come along, have a chat, listen, and get to know people.
The group is open to anyone affected by alcohol or drugs, whether you're currently struggling, in recovery, or simply feel that having some support around you would help. You are welcome regardless of your background or beliefs. If you'd feel more comfortable bringing a friend or someone you trust along with you, that's absolutely fine too.
📍 Where: Unit next to Shiloh Christian Fellowship, Skipperstone Road, Bangor
🕑 Currently: Saturdays, 2pm–3pm
The meeting day and time may change as the group grows, so that we can make it as accessible and suitable as possible for the people who attend.
There are no contact details required, just come along and give it a try. If you'd like more information before coming, you can message the Shiloh Christian Fellowship page.
You don't have to face it alone. Sometimes the hardest step is simply walking through the door ❤️.
You can simply come along, have a chat, grab a cup of tea or coffee, listen, and get to know people ☕️☺️.
Re-share as it went too far down the page.
