Have you been holding your breath through life lately?

This Saturday, I’d love to invite you to step away from the noise for a few hours and celebrate the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year, with yoga🧘🏼‍♀️, connection🙏🏼, nature🌿 & a picnic 🧺

The Summer Solstice marks the longest day of the year—a beautiful reminder to pause, reflect on how far we’ve come, and set gentle intentions for the months ahead.

There will be movement, stillness, laughter, conversation, fresh air and space to simply be. No pressure to perform, no need to be flexible or experienced—just bring yourself exactly as you are.

If your heart has been whispering that you need a reset, perhaps this is your invitation.

🌿Outdoor yoga & picnic🍓to celebrate the ☀️summer solstice (longest day) & 🧘🏼‍♀️International Yoga Day (both on Sun 21st).

An uplifting, fun & relaxing afternoon for anyone who’s looking for a mixture of movement, connection, reflection & relaxation next weekend.

Next Saturday 20th, 2.5 hrs, from 130-4pm, on the grass at St Gall’s, with indoor back-up (McCamley Room & Den) should weather be unfavourable.

Booking closes next Friday.

Me & my girl Keila💗 (March 2022)

10 heartbreaking days without you already, but blessed beyond words for 15 years of you by my side💗🐾

I’ve been a little quiet on here lately as life shifted into caring for my beautiful old girl through the final stages of canine dementia and arthritis, and then learning how to adjust to life without her.

Over these past couple of weeks, I’ve had to gently remind myself that even in grief, movement matters. Walking, yoga, strength training, fresh air and simply getting outside have all helped me to regulate my nervous system, move some of the sadness through my body and keep putting one foot in front of the other — just as my girl would have wanted.

Sometimes when life feels heavy, even a few stretches, a deep breath, a walk or a simple downward dog can create a tiny bit more space inside ourselves.

With that in mind, yoga classes resume this week:
✨ Monday — The Haven, 7:30pm
✨ Tuesday — St Galls, 7:30pm

I’m really looking forward to reconnecting with my lovely students and returning to some familiar grounding practices again.
