Josh's care company Ltd was set up primarily to provide care to person suffering from a spinal injury and other complex needs associated with a spinal injury. It was born out of bad circumstances and created out of love for Josh, and the drive to ensure excellent quality for him during a difficult time. The company's values are representative of what the company's core beliefs and underpinning und

erstanding of what care actually is. All of our staff are trained to care for someone who is a very complex spinal injury patient,

Our services are provided to persons in the following groups:

• Complex Physical disabilities related to spinal injury
• Adults who are recovering from spinal injury
• Adults with Learning Difficulties associated with or recovering from a
spinal injury (excluding those assessed with specific challenging
behaviour)
• Adults ventilated both intrusive and none-intrusive as a result of a spinal
injury
• Adults with ASIA A, ASIA B and ASIA C type injuries of all levels both
complete and incomplete
• Adults suffering from neurological paralysis
• Adults with tetraplegia
• Adults with quadriplegia

We can help with
• Personal Hygiene care
• Preparing light snacks and meals.
• Continence care
• Exercise programmes
• Supporting clients with daily living tasks
• Hoisting and assisted transfer

Specialist tasks

• Tracheostomy care, including changing
• Assisting with artificial feeding
• Changing sterile dressings
• Catheter care
• Bladder wash out
• Bowel Care
• Digital bowel evacuation
• monitoring fluid input and output
• monitoring calorific input and weight gain
• Identification and control of autonomic dysreflexia
• Oral suctioning
• Manual Cough assistance
• Mechanical cough assistance as per prescription
• Ventilator management
• Skin management
• Turning and positioning regime implementation and management
• Assistance with medication
• Ileostomy and colostomy care
• Super pubic catheter management
