"He crowns the humble with victory" Psalm 149:4

Wonderful news from CMC Vellore: the hospital's first heart transplant patient has been discharged, nearly three weeks after receiving a donor heart from a patient in CMC's own Neurotrauma ICU.

Congratulations to Dr Vikram Mathews, former Director of CMC Vellore and Senior Professor of Clinical Haematology, who was honoured at the 'At Home' Reception hosted by the President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu, at Rashtrapati Bhavan on India's 80th Independence Day.
