❄️ The treatment room is fully air-conditioned ❄️
☀️With temperatures set to reach record highs this week, I know a lot of people will be feeling it.
For some, that means heavier legs.
For others, it's swollen ankles, puffier feet, feeling hot, uncomfortable and generally not quite themselves.
Heat can make swelling worse, especially if you're prone to it, have lipoedema, lymphoedema, are navigating menopause, or spend long periods sitting or standing.
A few simple things that can help:
⭐ Drink plenty of water
⭐ Keep moving, even if it's just short walks
⭐ Put your legs up when you can
⭐ Stay cool where possible
One thing I am particularly grateful for this week is the air conditioning in my treatment room.
It's not just a luxury.
Many of my clients are sensitive to heat and temperature changes, so being able to keep the room comfortable makes a huge difference.
Take care of yourselves this week and don't be surprised if your body feels a little different in this weather 💚
