Beautiful lime trees 🌳 with their 💚shaped leaves...

Tilia platyphyllus - broad- leaved lime
Tilia chordata - small-leaved lime and
Tilia x European - common lime (a hybrid of the two)

Encourage RESILIENCE in times of change and to stay POSITIVE when moral is low 💚

Twin trees have a great presence in this garden and more trees flourish in the churchyard too 🍃

Now the flowers are emerging and we are looking forward to limeflower tea! ☺️

Grief and worry softens
Heavy hearts do melt 💚

Pinus sylvestris 🌲 Scots pine

I've been making ephemeral art under this tree in our garden ....going....going....gone! Taken by the wind! ( Unfortunately Instagram ruined the last photo 😞)
..and sketching - it's so tricky to get the scales right, I keep losing my place!

I love the stillness of cold winter days....

Sunlight sparkles on the frosty garden ✨
And freezes my bare toes 🥶

Early morning mist
mysteriously hangs in the valley

Birdsong in the bare canopies
Nature awaiting, in anticipation.....

Elder has revealed herself as the quintessential Midsummer tree spirit guide 🌼🌼🌼

I keep meeting these beautiful Goddesses in the woods and along the lanes in Surrey, Wales and Devon 💚

While camping on Exmoor thie weekend, the ancient tree in the last three photos spoke to me and I created the sketch with earth from her hollow, river water and mud, adorned with her flowers and leaves and some other of nature's collections from the river 💧

Her message "Go within and listen to your intuition, follow the ways of the feminine"

It's been a powerfully energetic Solstice with the full moon energy too. hope you are all feeling wonderfully rejuvenated! 🌝🙏🌄🌼

Imbolc blessings to all tree friends! 🌱✨💚

In the rainy mist swirling...
Entangled branches,
covered in lichen 🌧️

In woods I feel brighter.
Birds are singing,
clematis is weaving,
colours outstanding🍂

Catkins dangle
like golden icicles.
Their gentle flowers
kissing damp air🌼

I sit with Hazel
Grounded lightness
Rooted yet uplifted

Something is unfolding....
Going deeper, searching.
Inwardly stirring.
Sensing, awakening 🌱

Hazel is encouraging us to bring our gifts to the world and shine our lights brighter, giving to community, friends and family.🤗

🌼I hold out my hand to the hazel catkins and feel our fingers touch as if in greeting 💚
