Pregnancy is such a strange and beautiful season.
One minute you're feeling excited and planning for what's to come, the next you're wondering if anyone else feels quite as tired, emotional, uncomfortable or overwhelmed as you do.
That's one of the reasons I love Pregnancy Yoga so much.
It's not just about stretching and movement.
It's about taking time out of your week to slow down and connect with yourself and your baby.
To breathe.
To ease some of those pregnancy aches and pains.
To prepare your body and mind for birth.
And to spend time with other mums-to-be who are on the same journey.
For an hour, there's nowhere else you need to be and nothing else you need to do.
Just breathe, move and enjoy this chapter before everything changes. 💛
Pregnancy can feel long some days, but it really is such a short season in the grand scheme of things.
If you have been to one of my pregnancy classes and know someone pregnant send this as a little reminder to them that taking time to connect is golden ❤️

been a little quiet around here lately...
So I thought I'd take a moment to say hello and introduce myself to anyone new who has found their way here. 👋
I'm Ashley, mum to these two beautiful girls, farmers wife, yoga teacher, retreat host and the heart behind this little community.
I specialise in supporting women through pregnancy, motherhood and beyond through yoga, movement, connection and creating spaces where women can simply be themselves.
When I'm not teaching, you'll usually find me chasing after my girls, enjoying a coffee that's gone cold, lifting some weights or dreaming up new ways to bring women together.
This space is for every woman who needs a reminder to slow down, breathe deeply, reconnect with herself, and know she's not doing it all alone.
Whether you've been here for years or you've just arrived, I'm so glad you're here. 💛
I'd love to get to know you—tell me where you're joining from or what season of life you're in below ⬇️

This space is about so much more than yoga. 💛 ive been creating these spaces for 3 years now 🎉

Every week I watch mums walk through the door carrying the weight of sleepless nights, endless to-do lists and the demands of motherhood. And every week I see them leave feeling lighter, more connected and reminded that they don't have to do it all alone.

The community we've built at Mum & Baby Yoga is something I never take for granted. It's a place where friendships are formed, experiences are shared, tears and laughter are welcomed, and both mums and babies are held with kindness.

Motherhood can feel isolating at times, which is why spaces like this matter so much. We all need a village, and I'm so grateful for the beautiful one we've created together.

To every mum who has walked through our doors – thank you for making this community what it is. ✨🤍

For a long time, when people asked me what I do, I felt like I needed to give them a job title. Something that sounded productive, successful or more “enough.”

But over time, I’ve come to realise that the title I am most proud of is mum.

I am a mum first and I am so proud to say that.
The deep breaths through the hard days, the learning and growing alongside my girls, the little kisses on their cheeks and their tiny hands held tightly in mine — this is the greatest privilege of my life.

Being their mum is the most important thing in the world to me and I want to help normalise saying that out loud.
We don’t always need a job title to define our worth.
Sometimes the most beautiful, meaningful and powerful role we can hold being a mum.

So now, when people ask me what I do, I say it proudly:
I’m a mum 🤍

This audio speaks to me so much !
This photos was when I was on maternity leave from my job, a career i worked very hard for —
teaching mum & baby yoga, with my own baby right there on the mat beside me 🤍
Somewhere in that season, I realised how important these spaces were.
Spaces where women could breathe, move, feel held, and not have to be anything other than human.
Not long after, I was offered redundancy —
and honestly, it felt like a sign.
A quiet nudge that this work mattered… and that it was time to take the plunge.
So I did.
I changed direction completely, it was strange as i knew that i wanted to make the change but i still grieved the old me even though it was me making the choice to change .
Yoga has a way of teaching us when to soften, when to trust, and when to step forward — even when it feels wobbly.
I’m endlessly grateful I listened 🤍

Growing life. Growing strength. Growing me. 🤍
Pregnancy is wild, beautiful, stretching (in every sense of the word) and deeply humbling.
This season isn’t about pushing through.
It’s about softening in.
Listening closer.
Trusting your body in a whole new way.
Pregnancy yoga isn’t about perfect poses.
It’s about creating space — in your hips, in your breath, in your mind — for the transformation that’s unfolding.
Your body isn’t just changing.
It’s creating.
It’s adapting.
It’s powerful beyond words.
If you’re pregnant right now, this is your reminder: You are not fragile.
You are strong.
And you deserve support every step of the way 🤍
Come and breathe with us.

If February arrived like a gentle mum-friend:
She’d remind you that your body holds deep wisdom — and it’s okay to listen more than push.
She’d invite you to rest without needing to explain why.
She’d notice the quiet shifts: the way your breath softens, the strength growing beneath the tiredness, the moments you feel more you again.
She’d whisper that surrender isn’t giving up — it’s making space.
She’d encourage you to sink into motherhood slowly, trusting that something new is unfolding.
Like a spring morning, she’d remind you that blossoming doesn’t rush — it happens when you feel safe, supported, and held.
That’s the energy we’re welcoming this February. 🤍
