GOLDEN SYRUP & CHIA SEED APPLE CRUMBLE 🍎✨

You just can’t beat a classic apple crumble… especially when it doubles up as a nourishing breakfast for the week ahead.

Made with our Golden Syrup & Chia Seed Superfood Porridge, the topping is perfectly crumbly with a delicious caramel-like sweetness, while also packing in fibre, healthy fats, plant protein and an added source of manganese to support energy and wellbeing. This version is warm, wholesome, comforting and couldn’t be easier to throw together.

You will need:

Apple base:🍎
-5 Bramley apples, peeled and sliced
-3 tbsp maple syrup
-1 tsp vanilla extract
-Cinnamon

Crumble topping:🥧
-2 cups (around 350g) Golden Syrup & Chia Seed Superfood Porridge
-3 tbsp nut butter
-3 tbsp maple syrup
-40g crushed pecans
-1 flax egg
-Pinch of salt
-Coconut yoghurt, to serve

Method:
-Preheat your oven to 160°C fan.
-Add the apples, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and cinnamon to an ovenproof dish and toss together. Press down slightly to create an even layer.
-In a mixing bowl, combine the porridge oats, nut butter, maple syrup, crushed pecans, flax egg, and a pinch of salt.
-Use your fingertips to rub everything together until you have a crumbly texture.
-Spoon the crumble mixture evenly over the apples.
-Bake for 25–30 minutes, until golden on top and soft underneath. If the crumble starts browning too quickly, loosely cover with foil towards the end.
-Leave to cool for 10 minutes before serving. Perfect warm from the oven as a dessert, or enjoyed in the morning with a big dollop of yoghurt for a breakfast that honestly tastes even better than the original 😌

SEA SALT CACAO PISTACHIO COOKIES 🍪✨

The ultimate sweet treat with a little extra nutrition - exactly how we like to do things at Naturya. Rich cacao, crunchy pistachios, pools of melted dark chocolate and a sprinkle of sea salt… baking really doesn’t get much better than this.

Our Cacao Powder and Cacao Nibs bring deep chocolate flavour with the perfect crunch, while also providing a natural source of magnesium to support wellbeing and an active lifestyle.

Simple to make, gooey in the middle and crisp around the edges… the kind of cookies you’ll want warm straight from the oven.

You will need (makes 10 cookies):

-180g oat flour
-65g coconut oil
-85ml plant-based milk
-40g pistachios, chopped (plus extra for topping)
-100g dark chocolate, chopped
-40g Naturya cacao powder
-200g coconut sugar
-2 tbsp almond butter
-1 tsp baking powder
-1 tbsp Naturya cacao nibs
-Flaky sea salt

Method:

-Preheat your oven to 180°C fan and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
-In a bowl, combine the oat flour, coconut sugar, cacao powder, baking powder, chopped pistachios, and a pinch of sea salt.
-Gently melt the coconut oil over a low heat, making sure not to burn it, then leave to cool slightly.
-Pour the coconut oil into the dry ingredients along with the plant-based milk and almond butter.
-Fold through the dark chocolate chunks until everything comes together into a cookie dough.
-Roll into 10 balls and gently press down slightly with your fingers.
-Top with extra pistachios, cacao nibs, and a sprinkle of flaky sea salt.
-Bake for 12 minutes. They’ll still be soft and gooey when they come out, so leave them on the tray for 10 minutes to firm up slightly.

MIXED BERRY & WHITE CHOCOLATE FLAPJACKS 🍓🍫

One of our favourite days on the calendar deserves more than just one bake… so for World Baking Day, we’re turning it into a whole week of nourishing sweet treats to make, share and enjoy.

Starting with these addictive mixed berry & white chocolate flapjacks - soft, chewy, naturally sweet and packed with a delicious berry kick. Made with our Superfood Strawberry & Açaí Berry Porridge, they’re full of gut-loving fibre, slow-release energy, plant protein and antioxidant-rich ingredients to nourish the body and lift the soul.

The kind of bake you’ll make once… then crave every single week. 💛

You will need (makes 10 flapjacks):

-300g Superfood Strawberry & Acai Berry Porridge
-120g coconut oil
-3tbsp maple syrup
-100g medjool dates, chopped
-1tbsp h**p protein powder
-40g goji berries
-100g white chocolate
-1tsp Acai Berry Powder

Method:
-Preheat your oven to 180°C.
-Slowly melt the coconut oil, medjool dates and maple syrup in a pan over low heat. If your dates are a little firm, add a splash of boiling water to soften them.
-In a mixing bowl, combine your oats, goji berries and h**p protein powder, then pour in your melted mixture. Stir until everything comes together into a sticky mix - best mixed in a kitchen mixer.
-Line an 8x8 inch tin with baking paper and press the mixture in evenly, smoothing it down so it’s compact. Bake for 12-14 minutes, then leave to cool completely.
-Melt your white chocolate and mix half with your acai powder and drizzle it over the base. Chill in the fridge (or briefly in the freezer) until set, then slice into 10 bars.

Store in the fridge for up to 5 days… if they last that long 🤤
