Walking a mile a day for Cancer Research - Update!
I am ten days into March now and the weather has mostly been kind! I have walked 34.7 miles according to my phone's step counter and you have donated £440 to Cancer Research. Thank you so much everyone!
In the last 10 days I have walked in the Waterworks, Alexandra Park and Cavehill. I did the Maritime Mile (not quite North Belfast). I also visited Tollymore, one of my favourite places but not in Belfast!
Sometimes I walk alone, sometimes Adrian comes with me and sometimes I walk with friends.
I am really enjoying the walks and all the lovely small signs of Spring I am noticing. Next update is on the 20th March
If you would like to sponsor me to walk a mile in March for Cancer Research, Please go to https://fundraise.cancerresearchuk.org/page/explore-north-belfast-green-spaces-a-mile-at-a-time

It has been a bit of a tough year for me as I was diagnosed with breast cancer and then shortly afterwards, with metastatic cancer (basically the breast cancer had spread).
So I am fundraising for Cancer Research with the 'Walk a Mile a day for Cancer Research' campaign.🐞❤️
I will be exploring my local area and search for green spaces for short walks. 🌻🥰
I would greatly appreciate it if you could donate to my fundraising page if you can.🍄

Hello Fellow forest lovers and gardeners!
I have been away from work and only lurked around social media as I have been ill for the past year. I am now living with a life long illness and get treatment every three weeks.

However, I missed getting outside, to gardens, to forests and to the local hills. I missed working with children and young people and contributing to my local community in some way. So I am back at work (part time though) doing what I love.

Hopefully we will see each other soon, somewhere green and not so wet!
Aisling
