The organisation consists of all those concerned with organ transplantation. By January 2007 we had grown from 2 to 200 members. The Association is run by a Committee of volunteers. Transplantation raises all sorts of difficult, practical and emotional issues and we exist to complement the informationand support of medical staff.

On this date 22 years ago, I received my second life saving transplant.. To receive one life saving transplant is a modern day miracle… To receive another life saving transplant is beyond belief!
I can never repay the generosity and kindness shown to me , by a complete stranger.

The compassion their family and they showed for another human being , holds no bounds! They received nothing myself and my family received everything.
I am thankful every day to be alive, no matter what life throws at me! I live my life to its absolute fullest!! Surrounded by those I love the most.

My life saving hero I am forever humbled by your generosity.. forever in my heart & part of my soul.
Forever grateful ❤️

On this date 24 years ago, my life was saved by a complete stranger. My family was told I had 48 hrs to live, if I did not receive a life saving organ transplant.
The complete stranger
who made a selfless choice to sign the Organ Donor Register.
The courageous decision their loved ones made when they were asked to donate their loved one’s organs, in their darkest hour.

Miraculously my live was saved by the compassion and generosity, of a family I did not know. And their loved ones decision to become an organ donor.

Today, I live my life to its absolute fullest for both of us. You are my guiding light, my Angel and my real life hero.

I am forever humbled by their generosity for giving me, my gift of life!
Which I do not take for granted…
Each day no matter how difficult is a blessing.

Forever in my heart, part of my soul. Thank you, for the greatest gift I could have ever received, the gift of life ❤️

On this date 21 years ago my life was
saved for a 2nd time, by a complete stranger. I am humbled, by your courage, kindness and compassion.
The selfless act you and your loved ones showed to someone you did not know.

I received the news that I needed another life saving organ transplant. As my Autoimmune Disease, attacked my new life saving organ. I would not survive without a perfectly matched organ.
My life was hanging in the balance, again.

You , had signed the Organ Donation Register and informed your loved ones of your wishes. Your family lost everything that day.
Due to your selfless act of kindness.
My life was saved and my family received the greatest blessing of all. That I would survive and my life would be saved.

I live my life to its fullest guided by your compassion.
You are my guardian angel, my hero , my life saver. Forever in my heart. Forever grateful ❤️

Compassion that knows no bounds ❤️
No greater gift than the GIFT OF LIFE

The crucial part is having the conversation with your loved ones and letting them know your wishes.

A lasting legacy of love & compassion.

Megan McCallion saved 5 lives.
A young girls life cut tragically short.
Megan made the decision to join the organ donor register and made her wishes known to her loved ones.

Megan saved 5 strangers lives through her decision and the miracle of organ donation.

The McCallion family and friends alongside, NI Transplant Association have refurbished the ICU family rooms. We donated £20,000 to the Belfast Royal Victoria Hospital.

Please remember Organ Donation saves lives❤️
