It was great to get down and chat with the men!

I look forward to getting back going forward for further health information sessions

It was great to get down to Taughmonagh Men's Shed for a Health Information Session this Wednesday past!

At the session we explored Dementia Friendly South Belfast provision as well as a range of support information, programs and contacts points from across South Belfast.

Thanks to Colin and the men for having me down for a great chat and plenty of laughs!

We look forward to getting back down again going forward for more information sharing with the men 💪

A huge thanks to everyone who took the time to call into our Pathways event that took place Tuesday 19th May!

The event was a great opportunity to learn more about support available to you within the South Belfast area with free health checks and hand & arm massages available.

A special mention to all the organisations who held a stall at the event to showcase support and information. It was great to have everyone out💛

Day 6 💛

Today we are highlighting the support of the South Belfast Dementia Carers Cafe.

📍Ormeau Road Library, 247 Ormeau Road, BT7 3GG
📆 Last Tuesday of each month
🕧 10am

The peer support within the group brings an insight only personal experience could give and is an integral part to the group.

With everyone on various stages of the journey, attendees are able to support one another and give information as well as information provided by support organisations who are invited along to have a chat.

A wide range of support resources will also be available at each session and are free for all the take home.

** Please note there will be no Cafe this Tuesday 26th May returning again Tuesday 30th June **

Today we are highlighting the support through the Music For the Mind Program 🎶

The program is a FREE 6 week dual support music program for those with dementia, their carers, families and loved ones. Running Thursdays weekly.

📍Fitzroy Presbyterian Church, University Street, BT7 1HL
🕧 11am - 12.30pm

The program is a great opportunity to get out for some light refreshments, singing and lots of laughter. No singing experience needed!
