We’ve got that Friday feeling!! 🎉💜

Heading into town with the gang for some Friday fun! 😎

We headed into town on the Glider, with our first pit stop being St George’s Market. We chatted to lots of the stall owners, tried some fudge and nearly jumped out of our skin when the fishmonger lifted a lobster and it started to move! 🤣🦞

We wandered around the city centre, in and out of the shops, before stopping at King Pin for a game of darts and some pool! 🎯🎱 Katie Rose certainly gave the boys a run for their money! 👏😂

To finish off, we headed to Common Market for lunch! Burgers, Chinese and wings… we were stuffed to the brim! 🍔🍗🥡

Another great day to end a great week at Laso! 💜

Next week is a BIG one as we celebrate 1 year of Laso! 🫣🎂🎉

Shrink art, keyrings and painting! 🎨🖌️ A little arts and crafts day! 😄

We also had a run at our birthday bingo in preparation for our first birthday party next week! 🎉 It got very tense, with most of us only needing one song to win! 😂 Grace won the first round and Dan the second! 🏆

I promise we’ll a get joke of the day tomorrow! Poor George wasn’t feeling great today. 🥺❤️

Too busy today for Joke of the Day for anyone eagerly waiting! 😂 Back tomorrow!

Lots of hard work at the gym this morning! 💪

Bailey the Bomber was shocking us with all the weights he’s lifting! 🏋️‍♂️ George, Grace and Katie Rose were on the machines watching YouTube while getting their heart rates up 🥵 Dan and Daryl looked like they’re training for the Belfast Marathon 🏃‍♂️and Rose was using her new gym app to work independently! 📱👏

It’s so great to see the progress everyone is making each week! 💪

We needed a little sweet treat afterwards because life is all about balance… right? 😋 So we made caramelitas! 🤤 The smell filled the whole centre and had people checking to see where we were selling them! 😂

Everyone took some home to enjoy with a cuppa ☕️

Chilli, LEGO and Jenga! Easy Tuesdays! 😄🌶️

Today our young people designed their own Laso Charter, agreeing on what they feel is important to be part of Laso! 💜

After all the discussion, it was very clear to see that our young people want Laso to be a happy, comfortable and safe place to be. Somewhere to learn, make friends, support each other and, most importantly, have fun! 🤩

Brilliant to hear them sharing their ideas! I’m sure you’ll all agree, it’s a great charter! 💜🙌

Alexa, play Jump Around by House of Pain! 🎶🤸‍♀️

Wrapping up the week with a trip to Airtastic! What a laugh! 🤣 We were sweating, and our cheeks were sore from laughing so much! 😂

We definitely worked up a great appetite for lunch, then finished off the day with ice cream by the sea, while seeing who could make the biggest splash in the water! 🌊🍦🤣

What a way to finish the week! ❤️

🌱🌸 What a brilliant day with our friends at ! 🌸🌱

We had the best time exploring their amazing grounds and seeing all the incredible plants, flowers, fruit and vegetables they have growing. We even got to pick and taste tomatoes straight from the vine… and they were delicious! 🍅😋

We got stuck in with some planting too, potting flowers to take home with us, before getting creative making our own stamps and cards. 🌼🎨

Days like today are exactly what we love about Laso! 💜 It’s so important to build connections with other local services, share what we do, learn from each other and most importantly, have fun together!

A massive thank you to the team for having us and making us feel so welcome. We’re already looking forward to our next visit, and we can’t wait to welcome you guys to Laso too! 🥰🌱
