Visiting Cranbrook Goes Nuts!
Heading out on the bus (when it cooled down a bit)
Taking part in Make it Monday at home
Lawn Green Bowls (of course)
and making Eton Mess.

Yet again this week has brought us many highlights and kept us busy! We have been:-

-Making homemade milkshakes
-Having another BBQ (of course)
-Continuing to make our garden pretty by potting plants
-Been to Bowls at Benenden Bowls Club (we are getting very good)
-Making, decorating (and eating) some lovely fairy cakes
-Watching the May Day celebrations at the local pub!

Another busy week for us all at The Grange, all helped and aided by the lovely weather. Highlights have included...
With the sun shining, we have started to make the most of our gorgeous gardens, getting out the garden furniture and garden games.
We have our first BBQ of the year today - long may this continue as we love a BBQ!
We have been busy learning how to make mocktails decorated with an abundance of umbrellas and garnishes.
We have done lots of arts and crafts plus music therapy.
We have discovered that some of our residents have a talent for Lawn Green Bowls. This is an amazing thing for our residents to do in their local community, and we want to say a huge thank you to Benenden Bowls Club for welcoming us and taking the time to show us how to hone our skills on the bowling green!

Lovely to see Collingwood Ingram's name and tireless work as an ornithologist, plant collector and gardener mentioned on BBC1's The One Show tonight. He was a renowned authority on Japanese flowering cherries, with so many of his trees still visible at The Grange to this day.

With Spring definitely in the air, the beautiful weather has made us all want to keep busy at The Grange!
