🩵 Day 1-2: dark lipstick effect, more defined
🩵 Day 3-4: lips visibly healing, may feel dry and flakey, the colour will ghost once the dry flakes come off
🩵 Day 5-7: lips are fully healed but the colour will continue to change and deepen over the next week.

These things hurt WAY more than microneedling ⬆️

The last one is the one we find most painful 😬🫠🤣

A lot of people assume microneedling is going to be really painful… but the reality is usually very different.

In truth, most patients find it very tolerable - and theyr’re so comfortable with the treatment and so pleased with the results that they come back for repeat sessions! 👏👏🤣

At Regents Park Aesthetics, we numb the skin beforehand and the needles used are extremely fine, so discomfort is generally very minimal.

The result? A treatment that is much more manageable than most people expect - and well worth it for the skin benefits it can deliver! 🤩🩵🙏

Skin cancer doesn’t discriminate, it can affect everyone 🎗️

At Regents Park Aesthetics, we’re passionate about helping you care for your skin - not just for beauty, but for health.

Prevention is key: Daily SPF, avoiding sunbeds and staying sun-smart are essential in protecting your skin from harmful UV damage ☀️⚡️🚫

But just as important is early detection. Knowing what to look for could save your life 🙏

Here’s the ABCDE of melanoma warning signs to remember:

☀️ A - Asymmetry: one half of the mole doesn’t match the other
☀️ B - Border: edges are irregular, notched, or blurred
☀️ C - Colour: varied shades or multiple colours in one mole
☀️ D - Diameter: larger than 6mm, or growing in size
☀️ E - Evolving: changes in shape or size

Check your skin regularly, protect it daily and never ignore changes. If something doesn’t look or feel right, get it checked 🙏✨
