Venues, be honest with me. How many times have you said “we’ll do our best to accommodate”? 🙋♀️
No judgement. Everyone says it. It’s said with genuine good intentions, usually to a couple who’ve just mentioned — late, and apologetically — that a guest has dementia, or uses a wheelchair, or has just come out of hospital.
And then what happens? The scramble.
Someone suggests the quiet room. Someone checks the ramp. Someone on the team gets quietly asked to “keep an eye out.”
Here’s the bit I’d gently point out: your team are brilliant at hospitality. They are not carers. Not trained for it, not insured for it, not registered for it. Asking them to improvise personal care is unfair on them and genuinely unsafe for the guest.
So — let me be the answer instead. 🤍
I’m an Adult Registered Nurse of twelve years, and I provide one-to-one professional care and companionship for guests at weddings and events. Put me on your supplier list and “we’ll do our best” becomes “we work with a specialist who does exactly this.”
You carry none of the care. None of the risk. You just become the venue that had an answer — and trust me, families remember which one that was.
Drop me a DM and I’ll send over our venue questionnaire sheet. Free, no obligation, no sales pitch. It’s a handy prompt to walk your own site and get your answers straight before anybody asks.
