25 years of TKI therapy in CML – from revolution to reality

A new CancerWorld special issue celebrates 25 years of tyrosine kinase inhibitor therapy in CML, bringing together perspectives from across the global CML community.

The iCMLf is pleased to contribute the article “From Revolution to Reality”, reflecting on how scientific advances, education, global collaboration, patient advocacy, and improved access to treatment have transformed CML management worldwide.

While remarkable progress has been made, the article also looks ahead to the next challenge: ensuring equitable access to high-quality treatment for all patients and moving beyond disease control towards treatment-free remission and, ultimately, cure.
