Our sensory garden was the perfect setting for a lovely Cheese and Wine Afternoon at Marlborough Court Care Home 💜

Our wonderful residents, families, friends and our team spent the afternoon enjoying the sunshine, sharing good food, a glass of wine and plenty of conversation. We were also delighted to welcome the Deputy Mayor of Bexley, who joined us for the celebrations.

A special thank you to the talented Josh Antony, whose fantastic singing had everyone in great spirits and added something extra special to the day. It was one of those afternoons that brought people together and left us with some wonderful memories 😊

Marion's windowsill at Marlborough Court Care Home is looking more like a garden every day 🌸💜

Filled with beautiful flowers in every colour imaginable, there isn't room for another pot. Each morning, Marion loves to open her curtains and watch the sunlight bring the blooms to life, often sharing fond memories and thoughtful reflections inspired by them.

Every flower has been lovingly given by her son, making them even more special. They brighten her room, lift her spirits and bring her joy each and every day. As Marion says, this is her little garden of happiness 💜🌷

A little while ago, our wonderful residents from Marlborough Court Care Home enjoyed a wonderful day out to the National Maritime Museum ⚓💜

There was plenty to see as we explored the fascinating exhibits together, from historic artefacts and paintings to stories. The displays sparked lots of conversations, with residents sharing memories and experiences of their own along the way.

It was a lovely trip filled with discovery, reminiscing and good company. Seeing our residents so engaged and enjoying the day made it all the more special, and everyone returned to Marlborough Court with plenty to talk about 😊

Our wonderful nurses at Marlborough Court Care Home are at the heart of our home, bringing kindness, patience, and so much care to every single day. From gentle smiles to endless support, they make our residents feel valued, loved, and truly at home.

We couldn’t be more grateful for everything they do, not just in looking after everyone’s health, but in creating moments of joy and comfort along the way. Thank you for your hard work, your big hearts, and for always being there when it matters most 💜

Last week, we celebrated a very special milestone at Marlborough Court Care Home as our lovely Margaret turned 95 🎂💜

Margaret enjoyed a lovely birthday celebration with her son by her side, surrounded by balloons, cheerful decorations, and of course, a beautiful birthday cake. It was so lovely seeing her smile as the candles were lit and everyone came together to make a fuss of her 😊

Filled with love, laughter, and precious time together, it was a truly special day. Happy 95th birthday again, Margaret!

April at Marlborough Court Care Home truly blossomed into such a beautiful month 💜

There was a real sense of warmth throughout the home, with laughter drifting through the rooms and little moments of joy shared between residents and staff. From quiet chats over a cuppa to bursts of gentle excitement during activities, each day seemed to bring something to smile about.

It has been a time where simple moments turned into shared memories, and where togetherness was felt in the smallest of things. A lovely reminder of how special everyday life in our home can be 💜

We had such a wonderful time celebrating St George’s Day with our National Tea Party here at Marlborough Court Care Home 💜

The home looked lovely for the occasion, with a real festive feel as everyone came together to relax and enjoy the afternoon. There was plenty of laughter and chat as our lovely residents spent time with one another, soaking up the warm atmosphere ☀️

We tucked into a delicious selection of treats, with freshly served tea, tasty biscuits and fresh fruit, just right for a light and cheerful gathering. It was one of those afternoons where everything felt easy and joyful 🍓

A real highlight was the fantastic live performance from Joshua Antony, who brought so much energy into the room. Our residents and team absolutely loved it, with lots of smiles, singing along and a few happy dances too. We’ll definitely be looking forward to welcoming him back again 🎶💜
