Are you feeling constantly on edge or overwhelmed?

Tense, irritable, unfocussed, tired?

Just not feeling like you?

That might be your nervous system asking for support đź’›

When we’re under stress for long periods, our bodies can get stuck in survival mode, making it hard to do the things we enjoy.

The good news is this nervous system dysregulation can be gently reset with the right support. Allowing you to achieve real rest and feel like you again.

You’re not alone in feeling this way, and our 4 Week Nervous System Reset can help get you back on track.

We’ve been doing a lot of reflecting lately that so many people are always on, even when they are resting at the end of the day.

We are all used to juggling a million things, between work, family, and daily life. Most of the time, we’re coping, managing, and getting things done. The cost of this is that our nervous systems rarely get a real chance to fully switch off and recharge.

Even when we finally sit down to rest, many of us still feel that lingering mental activity or physical tension. At Mindful Growth Solutions Ltd, we see this constantly, and it’s far more common than people realise. It’s not that something is identifiably wrong, but things just don't feel right anymore either.

If we noticed these subtle signs in someone we care about we’d likely check in on them. Yet, when it comes to ourselves, we tend to ignore those little niggles, push through, and carry on.

This weekend, give yourself permission to pause.

Take a moment to really tune in to what your mind and body are saying. Check in with yourself, are you actually getting the rest you need?

We would love to know how you are planning to switch off this weekend? Let us know in the comments!

We often think rest is about stopping.

For many people, the body doesn’t actually feel safe enough to fully rest and relax.

This means even when you pause at the end of the day, the week or take a holiday... your system stays switched on, not fully powered down, not fully recharging.

That constant low-level alertness can feel like:

🔹overthinking
🔹tension in the body
🔹difficulty relaxing
🔹feeling disconnected
🔹irritability

It’s not always obvious, but it builds over time.

The good news is, once we recognise it and choose to prioritise the safety of our own nervous system to rest, it can learn how to settle again ✨

You manage, you cope, you keep going.

On the outside, everything looks fine.

But under the surface, your body never really switches off, like an engine on constant tick over.

Even when you stop for the day, your mind is still whirring.
When you rest, you don’t always feel restored.

A quiet encroaching stress, the kind that doesn't look like stress.

A lot of people are living like this without even realising it’s not how it has to be.

We're curious to know, does this resonate with you?

As wraps up, it’s been incredibly inspiring to see so many organisations showcasing their ongoing commitment to mental wellbeing. ✨

Using this week to shine a spotlight on long-term support, rather than treating it as a one-off exercise, is a sign of real progress. We are witnessing a powerful, quiet shift in culture where stigma is fading, open conversations are becoming natural, and hope is growing.

To round off the week, we loved joining Sport in Mind for an engaging online panel discussion! âš˝

The session beautifully highlighted our shared belief: sport and movement have an undeniable power to boost, protect, and sustain our mental health.

Thank you to everyone who joined the discussion. Let’s keep these vital conversations going every single week of the year! ✨

Mental Health Awareness Week is fully underway, and today we’re sharing a simple end of day routine to help you unwind and transition into rest mode, without the lingering anxiety or guilt that can come with being constantly connected, especially with the blurred boundaries of hybrid or remote work.

Maintaining a healthy balance is essential, and it’s okay to have a gentle reminder to put your own needs first.

✨ If you’ve found a great way to do this, share it in the comments so others can benefit too!
