Dr Myles Munroe once said,

“When the purpose of a thing is not known, abuse is inevitable.”

That quote really stayed with me today.

Because honestly… I think a lot of women are no longer living the life they once dreamed about.

Some have stopped believing, stopped dreaming.
Stopped asking God for the impossible. They have slowly stopped allowing themselves to believe there could be more for their life.

And when you stop believing there could be more, you slowly start settling… settling into a version of life that was never really meant for you.

Sometimes that even looks like ignoring the gifts God placed inside you, or not even recognising that they are there at all.

You just feel the restlessness, the discomfort.
That feeling that you were made for more than merely surviving… but you cannot fully explain why.

That is why knowing your purpose and your identity in Christ is so important.

Because when you truly know who you are and what God has placed inside you… you stop settling for less. 🥰

I attended the Limitless Women’s conference ✨

And the one thing that really stayed with me is this:

There will always be noise, different voices speaking, each carrying their own significance, opinions, fear, doubt, pressure, past experiences, and other people’s expectations.

And if you are not careful, you can spend your whole life responding to every voice except the one God is using to lead you.

Not every voice deserves access to your mind. 💯

Not every opinion deserves authority over your future.

Sometimes growth looks like learning to quiet the noise long enough to recognise the voice that calls you higher instead of keeping you stuck.

Because staying stuck is rarely just about your circumstances. A lot of the time, it is the thoughts, beliefs and voices you keep agreeing with.

There was a time in my life where everything felt like it was falling apart. 💔

I questioned my worth.
I questioned my purpose.
I even questioned whether God truly loved me. 😔

Because I looked around at other people and it felt like they were moving forward while I was constantly struggling just to stay afloat.

And I remember thinking…
“If God says He has plans to prosper me and not to harm me… then why does my life feel like survival?” 🥀

I smiled in front of people while silently breaking apart inside. And deep down, I started believing that maybe this was just my life. Maybe struggle was my portion.
Maybe lack was normal. Maybe I was asking for too much.

Then one day, I read the story of the four lepers in the Bible and one line stopped me in my tracks:

“Why stay here until we die?” ✨

And honestly… that question changed me.

Because I realised I could not keep sitting in the same place mentally, emotionally, financially, and spiritually, waiting for my life to change while thinking nothing ever would.

And in that season, God started showing me something I had never fully understood before.

It was not His heart towards me that was wrong.
It was the way I was thinking. 🧠🌱

My mind had become so used to disappointment that I started expecting it.

I knew scripture in my heart…
but my thinking did not agree with what God was saying about me.

I had learned how to pray. But I had not learned how to believe differently. 🙏🏾

And that was the beginning of my transformation.

Little by little, God started renewing my mind. 🌷

That journey is what inspired me to create my devotional journal, Renewing Your Mind for Success. 📖💕

Because I know what it feels like to feel stuck.
To feel tired. To wonder if there is more for your life but not know how to get there.

Long before battles are won or lost in life, they are first decided in the mind. 🎯

In the thoughts you keep agreeing with. In the same patterns you keep repeating. In the past you keep replaying.
