Curious about shamanism but not sure where to begin?

Perhaps you’ve felt drawn to something deeper.

A connection to nature.
A curiosity about spiritual practices.
A sense that there is more to life than what can be seen, explained or understood through logic alone.

For thousands of years, shamanic traditions have helped people reconnect with themselves, the natural world and the wisdom that exists beyond everyday awareness.

This one-day Introduction to Shamanism workshop has been created for complete beginners who feel called to explore this ancient path in a grounded, safe and authentic way.

No previous experience is needed.

Throughout the day, you will discover what shamanism really is beyond the myths and misconceptions. You will learn about the role of the shaman, explore the foundations of shamanic journeying, connect with traditional teachings and experience practical exercises that allow you to step beyond theory and into direct experience.

This is not simply a workshop where you sit and listen.

It is an opportunity to experience shamanism for yourself.

Whether you are seeking personal growth, spiritual connection, healing, greater self-awareness or simply wish to understand why this path has called to people across cultures for thousands of years, this day offers a powerful and accessible first step.

Set within the peaceful surroundings of Halfpenny Green Vineyard, this immersive experience provides a welcoming space to learn, explore and connect with like-minded people.

You do not need to have all the answers.

You only need curiosity, an open mind and a willingness to explore.

If something inside you feels drawn to this work, trust that feeling.

Your journey begins here.

One of the biggest misunderstandings I see today is the belief that being interested in shamanism automatically makes somebody a shaman. This is triggering for some people for me to say but it’s very new age spirituality.

Traditional cultures were often much more careful than that. A calling is real. Spiritual experiences are real.

Dreams, visions, initiations, illnesses, and encounters with spirit can all be part of the journey.

But traditionally, these experiences would be interpreted and guided by elders who understood the path. Not every healer is a shaman. Not every spiritual practitioner is a shaman.

And not everyone who feels called to shamanism is necessarily being called to become a shaman.

Sometimes the calling is to learn how to develop, I’ve seen it as a call to sometimes simply heal.

Sometimes it is to remember who you are. And sometimes it is to walk much deeper into the mystery.

The important thing is humility. The spirits may call us and the wisdom teaches us to seek guidance from those who have already walked the road.

I’d love to hear your thoughts.

What first drew you to the shamanic path?

Much love and respect,

One of the biggest misunderstandings I see around healing is the idea that everything can be fixed in a single session.

That if we just find the right healer, the right ceremony, the right medicine, the right technique, suddenly everything will fall into place.

Sometimes profound shifts can happen in a single moment. I’ve seen it many times.

But more often than not, healing asks something different from us. It asks for patience. It asks for honesty. And It asks for a willingness to meet ourselves layer by layer.

Think about it this way.

If you broke your leg, you wouldn’t expect it to be fully healed tomorrow.

A doctor would tell you to rest. To give it time. To follow the process. To allow the body to do what it naturally knows how to do.

Healing the spirit is often no different.

Many of the wounds we carry weren’t created in a day.

Some have been with us for years. Some were shaped by our childhood. Some by heartbreak. Some by loss.

Some by experiences we’ve never fully processed.

So why do we expect them to disappear overnight?

Real healing is often about building strong foundations first. Sometimes we have to prepare the ground before we plant the seed.

The truth is, healing is not a race.

It isn’t about chasing the next ceremony, the next workshop, the next healer, or the next breakthrough.

It’s about becoming the kind of person who can embody the change they are asking for. So if you’re on a healing journey right now, be patient with yourself. Because every step matters, even the ones that don’t feel dramatic.

Much love and respect,

Ryan ❤️

Have you ever felt like a part of you never fully came back? Not physically. But emotionally. Spiritually.

Like something changed after a particular event in your life. A relationship ended and you were never quite the same. A loss happened and part of your spark disappeared.

A trauma occurred and you found yourself going through the motions, but not fully feeling present anymore.

Within traditional shamanism, we call this Soul Loss. Soul Loss doesn’t mean your soul has gone.

It means a part of your life force, vitality, essence, or spirit has withdrawn as a way of protecting you during difficult experiences.

And whilst that protection may have helped you survive at the time, years later it can leave people feeling:

• Disconnected from themselves
• Numb or emotionally flat
• Stuck in old patterns
• Unable to fully move forward
• Like they’re watching life rather than living it

This is where Soul Retrieval comes in.

Soul Retrieval is one of the deepest forms of healing within traditional shamanism. It is a process of finding and returning those lost parts of ourselves so that we can begin to feel whole again.

Not a new version of ourselves. The version that was always there underneath the wounds.
If you’ve ever wondered whether Soul Loss might be affecting your life, I’d like to offer something to my community.

Comment SOUL below, and I’ll arrange a free call with you.

There’s honestly no pressure. No obligation.

Just a genuine conversation to explore with me to whether Soul Loss may be playing a role in what you’re experiencing and whether this work feels right for you.

Sometimes healing isn’t about becoming someone new. Sometimes it’s about coming home to the parts of yourself that never stopped waiting for you.

Much love and respect,

Ryan

In the winter, the falling snow collects on the branches of trees. Because the branches bend, they do not snap from the weight of the snow.

Maybe we too should learn from the trees. Become more flexible rather than more resistant. I do believe so much of our suffering comes from fighting what is already here.

The truth is we like to -
We resist change.
We resist uncertainty.
We resist difficult conversations.
We resist the things we wish were different.

And sometimes it is not the challenge itself that exhausts us… It is the energy we spend resisting it. The trees survives the storm not because it is the strongest.

It survives because it knows when to bend.

So today, ask yourself:

Where in my life am I creating suffering through resistance?

And what might happen if I softened my grip and learned to move with life instead of against it?

Much love and respect,

Ryan

From a shamanic perspective, gossip is seen as just a small thing. Many people often treat it casually without a thought… like conversation, entertainment, or harmless opinion.

But the truth is words do carry energy! And the moment we begin speaking about somebody carelessly, emotionally, or without truth, we begin affecting not only their energy… but our own as well! For me Gossip is very similar to Chinese whispers, I am sure you’ve all played that at school.

One person says something.
Then another adds emotion to it.
Another adds interpretation.
Another adds judgement.

And before long, the original truth is no longer there.
Only the distortion of truth remains.

This is why many traditional cultures are often very mindful about speech, because they understood that words move energy. They understood that what leaves your mouth also affects your own spirit.

From a shamanic perspective, constantly involving yourself in gossip can weaken your Wind Horse — your life force energy.

Because your energy becomes tied into judgement, emotional noise, drama, projection, and the unconscious energy of other people. And the person receiving gossip also feels it. Even if nothing is said directly to them. So when we sit in circles where gossip is normal, we have to become aware.

We have to question:
Is this true?
Is this helpful?
Would I want somebody speaking about me this way?

Because the more we feed gossip, the more disconnected we become from integrity, compassion, and inner clarity. And eventually, people who gossip constantly stop seeing truth clearly at all.

Their nervous system becomes addicted to emotional noise. So be careful what circles you sit in. Be careful what words you contribute to them. Because speech can either strengthen your spirit…

or slowly drain it.

One of the hardest things in healing can be when you genuinely feel like you’ve done the work… but something still won’t fully shift.

You understand the pattern logically, perhaps we’ve spoken about it. And I know so many of you have worked on yourself.

But underneath it all, there’s still something there.

A heaviness, fear, reaction, cycle that keeps pulling you back into the same place. And sometimes, the root of that goes far deeper than we realise.

On the 8th June, I’m holding a live online Karmic Past Life Regression & Mahakala Obstacle Ceremony.

This isn’t just about “finding out who you were in a past life.”

This ceremony has been created to help people explore the deeper karmic roots behind what they may still be carrying emotionally, spiritually, or energetically now.

I’ll be guiding the group through a deep shamanic past life journey, followed by a Tibetan karmic obstacle ceremony connected to the energy of Mahakala a fierce compassionate protector and remover of obstacles within Tibetan Buddhism and shamanism tradition.

The intention behind this evening is simple:

To help you stop just circling around the wound… and actually begin meeting the root of it.

Even if you’ve done past life work before, this will be very different to the usual Healing experience online.

This is a real ceremonial space.
Grounded. Intimate within our community.
And deeply transformational for the people who are genuinely ready for it.

The group will be intentionally kept small so the space can be held properly.

Energy exchange is £33.33 for the full live experience which will be recorded too!

This morning truth!

Sometimes, just the being that you are is enough to change the world.

This isn’t because you forced anything. Not because you became louder, bigger, or more important.

But because your presence carries something real.
A lot of people underestimate the impact of simple compassion.
A kind word. A moment of understanding.
The ability to still hold beauty in your heart, even when life has been difficult.

Perhaps in a world where so many people are disconnected from themselves, someone living truthfully becomes powerful without even trying.

The truth you carry…
the honesty of who you are…
the way you move through the world…

that is the magic.

Just the courage to remain open-hearted in a world that often teaches people to close down. Never underestimate what your energy, your kindness, or your presence might mean to somebody else.

Sometimes that alone changes lives.
