⚠️ How to help someone that you feel is struggling with Mental Health issues.
❓ASK: If you think something is wrong, don’t be afraid to ask. Noticing something different in his behaviour? Ask. Noticing going to the bar a lot? Ask. Noticing missing social events? Ask. People will say “we’re fine” when they’re not – so ask again!
👂🏻 LISTEN: Be all ears. Listen carefully, listen attentively and listen with sympathy. Be there for them. Give them your full attention, so they are able to feel your support. Be there judgement-free so they know you are there for them when they need you.
👍🏻 ENCOURAGE: Encourage them focus on simple things but do not be condescending. Encourage them to improve their wellbeing – sleep, food, exercising, and walking regularly for a fresh breath of air. Even encourage to try M&E Beard Care products to feel better!
👀 CHECK: Check with them when the best time is to see them! Make them see that you care about them, and support them every step of the way. Make time for them to speak to them, via texts, calls or even see them face to face.
🤧 If you have been feeling down lately and not your usual self or know someone who has, you're more than welcome to talk to us via DMs or email us. We're only a message away 🙌🏻
