Sometimes a small bit of support makes a big difference. 🙌

In this video, you can see our patient wearing their brand new custom 3D printed DAFO. These are designed to support the ankle, improve stability, and help where there’s a little muscle weakness — all while being slim, lightweight, and comfortable enough for everyday wear.

⭐️Using the latest 3D printing technology, we can create a support that fits the exact shape of each patient’s foot — no two are alike, just like the people wearing them.

⭐️At The Orthotics Clinic Birmingham, we believe everyone deserves orthotics that truly fit their life.

✨ Strong where it needs to be. Flexible where it counts. Meet the 3D printed dynamic strut AFO.

She is absolutely smashing it! 🙌🎉

This incredible young lady has just been fitted with her custom 3D printed dynamic strut AFO — and look at her go! 🥹💙

What makes this AFO so special? It gives the support and strength exactly where we need it, whilst the dynamic strut stores energy during walking and returns it at push-off — creating a more natural, fluid gait pattern. And the best bit? It doesn’t restrict her from running. 🏃‍♀️

3D printed. Bespoke. Built for her. This is modern orthotics. ✨

From Toe Walking to confident steps — SWIPE to see the difference! 👣💚

In the first video, you’ll see our patient walking on their toes — often caused by tight calf muscles. They’d tried AFOs before, but found them uncomfortable, with rubbing that made daily wear tough.

In the second clip, they’re wearing their prescribed Turtlebrace — designed to gently stretch the calf muscles while helping the heel come down naturally with each step.

Now, walking feels easier and more comfortable — less toe walking, good calf stretch with each step, and happier steps ahead!

We love seeing how the right support can make such a difference. 💪✨
