At 58 years old, I’m about to step onto a TEDx stage… and part of me still can’t quite believe it.
Not because I don’t think I’m capable. But because, for so many years, I quietly believed the lie that life becomes smaller as we get older.
But life has taught me something profound: The stories we carry - the painful ones, the messy ones, the deeply human ones - are often the very things that connect us.
On Saturday 20th June, I’ll be sharing my TEDx talk at TEDx Heaton in Bradford Grammar School.
My talk is about compassion, understanding, and the unseen stories behind people’s behaviour. It’s about moving beyond judgement and choosing curiosity instead.
If you’re reading this and you’ve been thinking it’s “too late” for you…Too late to change. Too late to begin again. Too late to use your voice. Too late to become who you really are…
Please let me lovingly remind you: It is not too late. Not even close.
