Todays Picks from the plot.

If your Cucumbers (like mine) have turned a tad bitter or a peppery taste to them, dont worry they arent bad,
This is a natural compound inside the cucumber (cucurbitacin) to ward off pests, and/or because they have been under harsh conditions like heat or under watering 😮‍💨

All you have to do is cut the ends off, cut another inch from the ends and deep shave it, this should stop most of the bitter taste 😊💚

Discard all waste to compost bins or use around the allotment where Slug are rife, they will head for the cucumber instead of your veggies 🙂

What started out as a Pile of Dirt on the floor and just a few old pallets and scrap timber has finally become my brand-new compost bays and wheelbarrow station! 🛠️

♻️From now on, all of our uncooked food, garden waste and Amazon boxes 👀 will be recycled right here to feed the soil and help our home-grown veggies thrive. 🌽🥦

It just goes to show that hard work always pays off. Stick to your guns, put in the effort, and manifest your goals! 🦾✨

If you Make your own, How do you handle composting in your garden? Drop your tips below! 👇💚

Making changes in life can take a lot of energy. 🌱

The changes you are going through, or have already been through, can be tough — whether they are positive or negative. They test you, challenge you, and sometimes make you second-guess yourself.

Practising energy attraction through meditation, affirmations, and clearing negative energy from your home can be a beautiful way to bring some peace back to your body, mind and surroundings. ✨

Push away the negativity. Make room for positive thoughts, positive actions and positive energy. 💚

Just like the marigolds shown in the picture, we too go through negative stages in life. 🌼
A marigold eventually dies back, but from that ending comes a seed — ready to begin again.
Sometimes we are the same.

We go through difficult stages, we let parts of ourselves fall away, and from those experiences we can grow new thoughts, new strength and a new way of living.

A fresh start. 🌱
A more positive life.
A life that feels like YOU again.

We can all change for the better, or simply change the things that no longer feel right, until we find ourselves again.

Be Kind 💚
Be Happy 💛
Stay Beautiful 💜

Much Love

🌧️ A little inspiration for this dreary morning… 🙏✨

Some mornings arrive with sunshine… and some arrive grey, cold and gloomy.

But remember — the weather outside doesn't have to decide the weather within you. ☀️💚

Take a deep breath.
Slow down.
Appreciate where you are, how far you've come, and trust that brighter days are always ahead, including today !! 🫶

🌱 Even on the darkest days, something is still growing.

Keep going. Keep believing. Keep your energy positive.

Your journey doesn't stop just because the sky is grey. 🙏☮️✨

Have a beautiful day, everyone. ❤️
